Knox Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit
Keeping your vinyl record collection clean and free of dirt and dust is crucial to ensuring a log life for your music library. Even the smallest specks of dust can accumulate over time and fall into the grooves of the record. This can cause damage to the record itself or your turntable’s needle as it passes through the dust deposits.
To avoid ruining your records or even your record player, you need a quality cleaning system. That’s where the Knox Vinyl Record Cleaning Kit comes into play. This kit includes a large microfiber record cleaning pad and 1.25 oz bottle of cleaning fluid, as well as a mini dust brush and a storage bag.
To Clean a Record
Simply apply 3 to 5 drops on cleaning fluid in a line along one edge of the cleaning pad. Spread the liquid out using a finger or the bottom of the bottle until the fabric along the edge of the pad is damp. Gently press the wet edge of the pad to a record while it’s on a turntable and hold it there for about 3 revolutions.
Then dry the record by making a gentle rolling movement with the cleaning pad so that the middle and back edge of the pad contact the record for another 3 revolutions. Once you’re done, clean the pad by gently brushing it from the back edge to the front edge with the mini dust brush.
All it takes is a few minutes to ensure your vinyl record collection will have a long, scratch-free life!
