Large movements can be achieved by loosening the azimuth lock and then manually moving the mount. One of the major advantages of the Celestron heavy duty Alt-Azimuth tripod is its ability to spin 360 degrees while the lock is disengaged. The tripod is also a perfect match for small and medium sized telescopes like the Celestron C90 or C5 and is compatible with SkyMaster 20 x 80 and 25x100 binoculars along with the Ultima 80 and 100 spotting scopes and C130 Mak Spotting scopes.
