Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera with 32.5 Megapixel (APS-C) CMOS Sensor

The high-performance EOS R7 is Canon's most sophisticated APS-C camera, featuring a 15-fps mechanical shutter. It offers maximum versatility for recording images and videos of quick action, wildlife, and everything in between, with a 32.5 MP sensor, in-body stabilization up to 7 stops with synchronized control IS1, and 4K60p video. This all-around camera is suitable for serious pros and sophisticated enthusiasts alike.

32.5 Megapixel (APS-C) CMOS Sensor

The EOS R7 has a newly built 32.5-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with excellent image quality. Its powerful and effective telephoto reach allows for quick continuous photography with high-speed autofocus, allowing you to capture moment-by-moment photographs in clear and amazing detail.

High-Speed Shooting

Speed is on your side whether you're photographing fast automobiles, sports, wild animals, or just life as it happens. The Canon EOS R7 can shoot at speeds ranging from 15 fps with a mechanical shutter to 30 fps with an electronic shutter. With the RAW Burst Mode and 12-second pre-shooting, you can catch the perfect moment down to the split second.

Blazing Fast Autofocus

This camera lets you easily and accurately capture fast-moving stills. Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology detects focus by using every pixel on the imaging sensor, covering about 100% of the width and height with up to 651 zones.

5-axis In-body Image Stabilization with Auto-Level Technology

The camera's IBIS (In-Body Stabilization System) provides up to 7 stops of shake correction with coordinated control IS1. For handheld videos and low-light photography, this might be a game-changer.

Record Each Clip Over 30 Minutes

You can easily set up your video without being concerned about it ending after 30 minutes.

Optimized for Video

With Smart Shoe audio integration and HQ 4K video, you can create professional-looking videos (oversampled from 7K). Then, using Dual UHS-II SD memory card slots, record everything to both cards.

Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera

Canon EOS R7 Mirrorless Camera with 32.5 Megapixel (APS-C) CMOS Sensor SKU: 5137C002

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing camera I told my parents this is the only thing I wanted for my birthday and lucky me got it, it has been amazing, never fails, long battery life, downloads straight to my phone, and amazing quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Many great features but the AF can make you crazy I've had this camera with the RF 100-400 f/5.6-8 IS lens for about five months. I've made some wonderful images. The combination is lightweight, the image quality is superb, and I love all the pixels. My problem is with the AF. Sometimes it's superb but other times it focuses where it wants to, not where I want it to. And it has great trouble acquiring focus on small objects when fully zoomed out (400 mm). So I have to acquire focus at 100 mm then zoom in. I miss a lot of shots that way. So I recommend it but with major reservations. If you expect flawless AF you're going to get very frustrated.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera, light weight, fast! I was looking for another camera body to supplement my R5. The R7 fit the bill. I shoot a lot of airshows and I like the extra reach the crop gives me. With the testing I've done so far, the sensor appears to be extremely good. I looked at the R8 as a second body, but I didn't want to add a different set of batteries to my kit. A minor annoyance, I realize, but the R7 uses the same battery as my R5 and 5DMK3. One less thing to worry about. The camera is very fast and lightweight. I'm looking forward to Airshow Season.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Good Camera for a Newbie or a Pro It's a very good camera. I recommend it for any amateur who is just getting into photography or any advanced photographer who wants the extra reach afford by the compact sensor. It works best with RF lenses. EF lenses are not as crisp. ISOs above 3200 are very grainy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Birding / Wildlife Wonder Tool My birding partner loves to shoot captivating images without the technical complexity. The R7 allows that. I configured it to behave as a "point and shoot" (with a 600mm).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my R7 I had trouble with my first R7. This one is working so far & I love it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this Canon product Have had this camera one year. Design, function, and results are excellent. Only downside is the operating manual. Obviously a translation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb camera for birds at a fair price My new R7 is paired with a RF 100-500mm lens. I have had much improved sucess with the R7 coming from an EOS R6 and 6D Mark II. Focusing difficulties have gradually begun dissapearing for me, given I am a rank beginner and totally an amateur. I configured back button focus and animal eye focus to improve my chances with birds in flight. Unless you don’t mind the price on the better full frame cousins, the R7 is more than enough for hobby photographers. I fully support the excellent reviews it has gotten.
