The Sub10 MK2 is a powerful subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency capabilities of any near or midfield monitoring system down to 25Hz. A sturdy special woofer with extended cone travel and a heavy-duty coil have been optimized for accurate reproduction from a bass reflex enclosure. The down-firing bass reflex tube avoids intrusive ventilation noise because of its generous size and shape. The PWM amplifier produces over 90% efficiency and can handle critical passages without overheating for long periods. An additional output allows you to cascade as many subwoofers as needed. The Sub10 MK2 subwoofer provides a precise combination of low cutoff frequency (-3 dB at 25Hz) and an undistorted high sound pressure level (113dB at 1m).

The A44H offers an alternative to the A-Series A7V that delivers similar performance characteristics. It is made from a new glass fiber polymer compound that in turn creates a clear sound, free of unwanted resonance. The ADAM Audio X-ART tweeter in the A44H HPS Waveguide is made in Germany the heart of the rotatable HPS waveguide. It provides precise transient responses and reproduces the finest sonic details.

Multi-Layer Mineral Woofer

Woofers are made with a unique blend of mineral stone fibers that creates a lightweight but highly stable material. This unique blend in the woofers produces high output with low distortion, delivering a clean low-end. 

Hybrid Amplification

The woofers are driven by Class D amplifiers that reduce distortion and produce linear performance. The amplifiers are chosen for their power and efficiency, in terms of both energy consumption and sound reproduction. It has low thermal dissipation that allows for a smaller heat sink.

DSP-Based Electronics

DSP-based electronics provide greater tuning precision and better predictability. You can integrate the latest DSP-based capabilities from ADAM Audio like new filter types, features and alternative voicing.

Room Adaptation

There are four bands of room adaptation equalization: Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble. Each of them is adjustable in predefined steps, offering more than 100 tuning options to help compensate for the typical acoustic problems that arise from speaker placement.

Voicings

A Voicing is a pre-defined sound profile of this monitor. On the back panel, you will find two different selections, UNR and Pure. Here you will also find the Ext option which is dedicated to the extended functionality that comes with A-Control via the Ethernet connection.

Bass Reflex System, Cabinets, and Mounting

The cabinets for A44H have deeper beveling that reduces diffraction. The thicker baffle walls provide the required strength and reduces internal vibrations. The flared port design reduces noise thanks to optimizing airflow.
