The Atlas Sound 96-8-10 is a cost-efficient, cylindrical protective enclosure that mounts a variety of Atlas Sound grilles. This popular extra depth model provides improved low-frequency performance of 8-inch commercial and professional loudspeakers. The increased volume extends bass response by allowing additional acoustic loading for cost-effective application wherever enhanced audio quality is desired. This unit features a welded CRS construction, has a painted finish, and is undercoated and patch jute lined to eliminate mechanical and acoustical resonances. This unit is also lined with 1 1/2-inch thick density fiberglass (1 1/2 lb per cubic feet ) to prevent metallic resonance.
