Conical Stylus

The Audio-Technica Cartridge features a spherical shaped tip of the stylus cone with an aluminum cantilever. The aluminum cantilever allows for a faithful reading of the record glove This classic design is a popular and leading style in the industry thanks to its proven track record of delivering high quality sound at an incredibly affordable price. The bonded round shank construction increases the mass of the overall tip and is classically compatible with entry level systems and older record players.

Dual Magnet Design

The Vertical Dual Magnet on the VM510CB Phonograph Cartridge uses the 90° V-Shape of the cutter head. Two transducer coils are mounted in each wall of the 90° record groove. The dual V Mount magnet configuration delivers excellent channel separation and low distortion resulting in outstanding tonal quality. This style achieves more accurate tracking, excellent channel separation, high definition stereo image and extreme clarity across the audio spectrum. Paratoroidal coils improve generating efficiency in the durable low-resonance polymer housing.
