The Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G-10 Converter in Black provides color accurate monitoring for OLED TVs and multi-channel surround sound monitoring with powered speakers. It converts 12G‑SDI or SMPTE-2110 video to HDMI in a rack mount design. It's perfect for color grading rooms and theaters. It supports both 2110 IP and 12G-SDI inputs with 3D LUTs for accurate HDMI display calibration. It has 10 independent XLR audio outputs with remote level control and customizable delay for perfect AV sync with TVs and projectors. This rack mount converter has an elegant design with a color LCD for monitoring, menus and diagnostics. The converter features built-in 2.2-inch LCD screen for monitoring video, audio and status plus menu settings.
Build Professional SMPTE‑2110 Broadcast Systems
The Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter has been designed to integrate SDI equipment into 2110 IP broadcast systems. The rack mount converter can be installed in equipment racks right next to the equipment you're converting. However with Blackmagic Studio Cameras, Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G G3 and the SmartView 4K G3, you can build most of your SMPTE-2110 system without converter. Adding converter also means you get a low cost way to transform all your video equipment to SMPTE-2110. Simply add a Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter to live production switchers, disk recorders, streaming processors, cameras, TVs and more.
Conforms to the SMPTE‑2110 IP Video Standard
It conforms to the SMPTE-2110 standard for IP video, which specifies the transport, synchronization and description of 10-bit video, audio and ancillary data over managed IP networks for broadcast. It can also re-sync SDI inputs to a common PTP clock or external gear can lock to the reference output that’s also generated from the PTP clock. Blackmagic 2110 IP supports SMPTE-2110-20 uncompressed video, SMPTE-2110-21 traffic shaping/timing, SMPTE-2110-30 audio and SMPTE-2110-40 for ancillary data.
Multi-Rate 12G‑SDI for HD and Ultra HD
Blackmagic 2110 IP converter is designed for advanced television production. It also feature the latest 12G-SDI video connections. This means you can connect to traditional broadcast gear using SDI and new 2110 IP based broadcast systems with the same product. 12G-SDI is multi-rate, which means that a single video BNC cable can connect to any HD or Ultra HD equipment. You get support for 720p HD at both 720p50 and 59.94p. Plus 1080i HD interlaced standards in 1080i50 and 1080i59.94. 1080p support includes 1080p at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94 and 60p. The 12G-SDI also handles Ultra HD in all television standards including 2160p at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 50, 59.94 and 60p.
Uses Simple 10G Ethernet
Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter comes with RJ-45 connectors for simple Cat6 copper cables or SFP sockets for optical fiber modules and cables. Using simple Cat6 copper cables means you can build SMPTE-2110 systems at a dramatically lower cost. The cables are simple and Ethernet switches for 10G Ethernet are very common. In most cases, modern buildings already have 10G Ethernet cable installed, so you can use the cables you already have.
Rack Mount Converter with LCD and Active Cooling
The rack mount converter has elegantly designed front panels with an LCD, so you can walk up and change settings right from the front panel. The display also shows live video monitoring of all inputs and outputs. In addition, the LCD includes routing menus for selecting the IP source for each of the video outputs. It’s just like a mini router, but built into the front panel. This rack mount model has active cooling so it can be stacked together in a rack.
Flexible and Redundant Power
The full rack mount converter includes a built in AC power supply. This means you can just plug into any wall outlet.
