Ideal for live events and professional AV installations, the Blackmagic Design Teranex AV Standard Converter comes packed with function designed for broadcast and post production workflows. It delivers 1,089 up, down, cross and standards conversions for virtually all formats up to 2160p60. A low latency mode helps process common conversions in much lower latency than regular processing. This function is useful in live production where reduced delay between the live action and the image being displayed on monitors or projectors is important. The Blackmagic Design Teranex AV features a still store for adding logos and graphics, a live freeze frame and can generate a reference signal.

Connections

The Teranex AV Converter comes with multiple input and output options for connecting with professional and consumer sources. It features SDI inputs (which can be used simultaneously), HDMI input, HDMI output, HDMI loop interface, Quad 3G-SDI outputs, along with XLR audio, Ethernet, and USB connections. Metal brackets at the rear end of the unit helps prevent cables and connections from getting damaged when installed in tight locations.
