Canon's EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens is a versatile standard zoom lens which deftly handles a large range, delivering amazing results.  This is an ideal choice for portrait length telephoto applications.  It features a constant aperture of f/4 which translates into incredible consistency at the telephoto end of the zoom range.  This means that you can set the exposure at the widest aperture and zoom all the way to 105mm without slowing down the shutter speed.
