| Metering Method | 1. Evaluative Metering The camera evaluates the entire frame, considering multiple zones for the best exposure. It works well for general photography, including portraits and landscapes. 2. Center-Weighted Average Metering This method gives priority to the center of the frame while still considering the surrounding areas. It's often used when the subject is in the center of the image. 3. Partial Metering Measures a smaller area in the center of the frame (approximately 10% of the viewfinder), useful for backlit subjects or high-contrast scenes where the subject is in the center. 4. Spot Metering Only a small area (approximately 3.5% of the viewfinder) is measured for exposure. Ideal for situations where you want precise control over exposure for a specific part of the image. 5. Auto (AI) Metering The camera automatically selects the best metering mode based on the shooting conditions, ensuring optimal exposure without needing manual adjustments. |
| Exposure Modes | Auto Exposure (AE) The camera automatically determines the ideal exposure settings (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO), making it ideal for beginners or quick snapshots. Program Auto (P) The camera selects both the aperture and shutter speed, but the photographer can adjust other settings like ISO or exposure compensation. Shutter Priority (Tv) The photographer sets the shutter speed, and the camera automatically adjusts the aperture to achieve proper exposure. Useful for capturing motion or fast-moving subjects. Aperture Priority (Av) The photographer chooses the aperture, and the camera adjusts the shutter speed accordingly. This mode is ideal for controlling depth of field (blurry backgrounds or sharp focus). Manual (M) The photographer has full control over both aperture and shutter speed, providing the greatest level of creative control over exposure. Bulb (B) Used for long exposures where the shutter remains open for as long as the shutter button is pressed. Ideal for capturing night scenes, light trails, or astrophotography. Creative Assist A beginner-friendly mode that allows users to adjust the look of their photos with simple controls for brightness, contrast, and color saturation, offering more creative freedom without the technical complexity. Scene Intelligent Auto Automatically adjusts the camera settings based on the scene detected, such as portraits, landscapes, or macro shots, for optimal results in a variety of environments. |
| Continuous Shooting | 6.5 fps (frames per second): The camera can shoot up to 6.5 frames per second in continuous mode, which is ideal for action, sports, wildlife, or any other fast-moving scenes. Buffer capacity: While the camera supports continuous shooting at 6.5 fps, the total number of frames it can capture before the buffer fills depends on factors such as image resolution and settings. |
