Built with direct feedback from creators, the EOS R50 V features a bold, modern design that stands out and is easy to take anywhere. Beyond portability, it offers a smooth powered zoom lever (for Power Zoom lenses), a 3-microphone array for clear audio with noise reduction, and Canon’s latest Multi-function shoe for attaching and powering compatible accessories.
Vertical & Horizontal Mounting
Perfect for today’s content creators, the camera includes both vertical and horizontal tripod mounts—one on the grip’s side and another on the bottom. When in Movie mode, the menus automatically rotate to match the camera’s orientation.
Confident Recording
Designed for creators who spend time in front of the camera, the EOS R50 V has two Record buttons—one on the front for vlogging and another in the traditional shutter position. A red tally light (visible from the front and top) and an LCD recording border ensure you never miss when the camera is rolling.
Ready to Create
The built-in zoom lever lets you control Power Zoom lenses like the RF14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ directly from the camera. Zoom speed is fully customizable for both pre-recording and active recording. The camera also includes Mic, Headphone, and E3 Remote ports for expanded creative control.
Pro-Level Video Simplified
A new mode dial features seven video-focused modes, including Automatic video exposure, Close-Up Demo mode (great for e-commerce or product presentations), Movie Image Stabilization for steady vlogs, and Smooth Skin mode for on-camera appearance.
Creative Speed Control
The Slow and Fast mode provides in-camera control of frame rates and playback speeds. Record UHD 4K, UHD 4K Crop, or Full-HD with frame rates up to 59.94p in 4K Crop and 119.8p in Full-HD, allowing for slow-motion and time-lapse effects without extra editing.
Cinematic Color & Look
Advanced creators will appreciate features like Canon Log 3, HLG, PQ, and Canon709 recording with 4:2:2 10-bit color for professional-quality video. A new Color Filter mode adds 14 unique color options, while the new Cinema View mode enables instant 2.35:1 letterboxed cinematic framing.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
