Canon's innovative EF-RF optical adapter is the Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x, which converts light transmission from full-frame to the Super 35mm image format. It extends the angle of view and optical sensitivity, while seamlessly integrating with the camera's optical corrections.
Construction
This unit greatly expands the list of compatible lenses by including Canon's renowned line of EF lenses. In addition to the flanges of the RF mount, four screws securely attach the adapter to the EOS C70 camera. Once mounted, the adapter maintains a similar angle of view of your full frame lenses on the Super 35mm sensor, while boosting the speed of the attached lens. The adapter also carries all EF information through to the RF contacts, so, on certain EF lenses, full DPAF and metadata will be available with an EOS C70 camera, working much as they do on a native EF mount.

The Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x allows the use of widely available EF-mount lenses on the C70 while maintaining an angle of view similar to full-frame on the C70’s S35mm sensor.
Boosts Lens Speed by One Full Stop
By increasing EF lens speed by one full stop, the Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x boosts image brightness, which is especially helpful in dark shooting conditions.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
