The RF 24-105mm lens was designed to deliver the ideal combination of speed, durability and flexibility in its optical design, giving it excellent performance and high resolution results. The RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens is a versatile zoom lens with a broad focal range and constant f/4 maximum aperture. The Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens is the first L series lens to feature Canon’s speedy NANO USM, making it ideal for landscapes, portraits and much more.
Functionality
The RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM Lens is a medium-diameter standard zoom lens with an f/4.0 constant maximum aperture over the entire 24-105mm focal length range. Featuring an enhanced 5.0-stop image stabilization system and high-speed auto focus functionality, this lens will make sure you never miss a beat. Nano USM technology combines USM and STM AF systems to provide a high-speed, precise, and ultra-silent autofocus system. RF lenses are intended for professional photographers, high-end amateurs, and low-light moviemaking and were built for compatibility with the new Canon EOS R mirrorless system and Canon RF Mount.
Construction
The RF 24-105mm lens is comprised of 18 lens elements in 14 groups. Canon’s Air Sphere coating minimizes ghosting and flare to give you greater contrast and excellent color neutrality. Air Sphere gives you minimal distractions and aberrations. The 12 pin high-speed communication system processes data to your from your RF lens to your Canon EOS R camera faster than any other lens/camera combination. The RF 24-105mm f/4L lens’ large diameter rear elements capitalize on the short flange back of the RF system to contribute to the high optical performance of the image projected onto a large Full Frame sensor. The large diameter mount and the short back focus are ideal tools in maintaining higher brightness of f/4.0 maximum aperture. These two factors mean the front section of the RF lens can be physically much smaller than conventional EF lens architecture.
Control Ring
All RF lenses incorporate a control ring on the lens barrel that can directly adjust numerous settings including shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and more. Located towards the front of the lens and effectively adding a third dial to the Canon EOS R camera’s main dial and quick control dial, the ring has a tactile, easily distinguished surface and features a clicking mechanism that provides tangible feedback for confident use while looking through the viewfinder.

The RF 24-105mm lens was built to handle the rigors of professional use. This lens was built with a rugged, refined, and precise construction so that you can intuitively concentrate on the subject at hand. The Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L USM Lens is vibration shock resistant in the lens barrel to help maintain focus and settings. A dust and water resistant construction protects against difficult weather conditions while the Fluorine coating prevents dirt and dust from sticking.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
