Designed for quality and convenience, the 12mm Omni Eyepiece is an ideal accessory for observing deep-sky objects. Because of its 50º apparent field of view, the Omni is perfect for taking in the moon, the planets and innumerable other celestial bodies in remarkable clarity and detail. The Eyepiece’s four-element optical set is finished with several layers of high-transmission coatings which ensure clear, crisp images. The edges of the optics are also blackened for greater contrast. To add to its visual benefits, the Omni undergoes a two-step anodizing process provides an elegant matte finish that minimizes reflections and glare. The Eyepiece’s body is made of aluminum. The insert barrel is threaded to accept 1.25” filters.
