The Celestron 45-degree erect image diagonal is a great accessory you could use to adapt your telescope for terrestrial observation. If you look through your microscope with the standard mirror or star diagonal installed you will notice that objects may be either upside down or flipped. This is fine for celestial observation but can be a bit confusing for terrestrial observing. Fortunately there is a solution for that; this is where the 45-degree image diagonal comes in, it enables you to view terrestrial images without all the distortion. By simply removing the standard diagonal from the telescopes focuser or visual back and installing the Celestron 45 degree erect image diagonal you will see the difference.
