Astronomers out there all know, to get the good shot, that great image, the perfect view, you need a mount that is equally as great and perfect. The mount helps with centering the optical tube so you can get to the exact point you want to observe in the night sky. Now, with Celestron Omni CG-4 Telescope Mount, you can do much with little effort.
Features
The Celestron Omni CG-4 Telescope Mount is a German Equatorial manual mount and tripod that is supplied with all the Omni XLT Series telescopes. The ball bearings in both axis of the mount make for a smooth and effortless performance. The RA and DEC slow motion controls and setting circles are able to accurately locate and track sky objects.
The mount has a heavy-duty pre-assembled stainless steel tripod featuring 1.75" steel legs with center brace/accessory tray and bubble level. The mount also comes with two counterweights, a 7 lbs and a 4 lbs weight. In addition, the telescope is comparably light, so you can carry and set up your telescope with ease on all your travels.
