The Ibanez BTB605MSCEM is a 5-string electric bass guitar featuring a Panga Panga fretboard and T1 pickups. The Panga Panga fretboard features a beautiful wood grain that produces a tight low and mid-range, along with a sharp attack on the high end.

5-Piece Maple/Walnut Neck

The 5pc Maple/Walnut neck provides tonal clarity and superior attack. The Graphite reinforcement rods provide massive sustain and excellent stability.

Medium Stainless Steel Frets

Okoume Body

The Okoume body provides a bright and solid sound.

T1 Pickups

The T1 pickup has separate dual coil construction to provide tight bottom-end, punchy mid-range, and smooth response. So it is highly versatile and great for various musical genres, but furthermore, you can adjust the height of every single coil individually for detailed sound making. By setting one coil down, for instance, it sounds like Single-coil even while maintaining hum-canceling. Not just does it sound great, but it is made quite ergonomically as well. The corners are rounded, so you feel less stress when you put your thumb on them. 

Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-Band EQ

The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ is our latest refinement on the concept of simple, straightforward, no-nonsense EQ control. The Boost and Cut for the Mid Control are each centered on slightly different frequencies, an innovation that delivers a preset range of the most favorable bass tones.

MR5S Bridge

The MR5S bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing by +/- 1.5mm, answering every bassist’s specific string spacing needs.

EQ Bypass Switch

The EQ bypass control offers precision tonal adjustments, including a switch to choose passive-only operation. When the EQ bypass is activated, the treble tone control knob becomes the global tone control for the passive circuit.

3-Way Mid Frequency Switch

The 3-way Mid frequency switch allows players to change the mid-tone between 250, 450, and 700 Hz.

37-35-Inch Multi-Scale
