28.6-Inch Short Scale Length

As opposed to our full-size, four-string Concert Bass (34-inch scale), the Minion Concert Bass features a shorter 28.6-inch scale length, ideal for children, young adults, or petite adults who benefit from a more comfortable body size and frets placed closer together. A shorter scale length also favors ‘warmth’ or more muddy overtones.
