Leica Q3 60-Megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor with Triple Resolution Technology and IP52 Rating Camera
The Leica Q3 is a 60-megapixel compact digital camera with a 35mm lens and a BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology. It allows 14 stops of dynamic range and up to 90 mm of digital zoom options. The camera boasts a new Maestro IV processor that has 8GB of buffer memory. The camera features a hybrid autofocus system that allows phase and contrast detection with eyes, body, face, and even animal tracking.
Tilt Screen
The camera has a tiltable backscreen that gives you a 76 percent increase in resolution in comparison to its predecessor, the Leica Q2. It has the same resolution and frame rate as the Leica SL2 and SL2-S viewfinders.
Ports and Connectivity
The Leica Q3 has an HDMI port and a USB-C port. The HDMI port allows video recording, and the USB-C port lets you transfer data and charge the battery. It also has an 8K resolution output and supports ProRes video.
Battery Performance
The Q3 gives you an 18 percent increase in battery life compared to its older counterparts. It is the first of its kind to offer wireless charging. The camera has 10 times faster transfer speeds when files are transferred wirelessly compared to the Leica FOTOS app with embedded MIMO technology.
IP52 Certified
The Leica Q3 is IP52 certified for weather sealing.
