With an effective pixel count of 16.0MP, the Nikon COOLPIX produces super sharp, high quality images with Nikon's advanced EXPEED image-processing engine and high performance NIKKOR lens that is capable of collecting sufficient light, even in low light conditions. To counteract camera shake, the COOLPIX B600 is equipped with a vibration reduction (VR) function, ensuring images that are sharp and shake free, even in dimly lit scenes at telephoto lengths. When shooting video, 4-Axis Hybrid VR (lens shift VR + electronic VR) keeps your shot steady, even if you’re moving around with the camera.
Snap-Back Zoom Button
A 60x optical zoom lens with macro capabilities means you can literally capture everything on this camera. When shooting at super telephoto distances you can sometimes lose sight of your subject. To assist with this, Nikon added the Snap-Back zoom button on the lens which quickly zooms out so you can relocate your subject. This button can also be customized to activate other useful functions such as manual focus, aperture, ISO sensitivity, exposure compensation or white balance.

Create and share exciting video montages with Short Movie Show mode, which combines multiple videos into a single 30-second movie collage that can have Special Effects and four types of soundtracks. You can even capture stills while recording so you won't miss a single moment.
Stay Connected
Keep a constant connection between your camera and smart device utilizing the SnapBride app, the camera’s built in Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technology. Captured images can be transferred from your camera to your smart device automatically, and the app supports a number of additional features including the ability to add copyright information and comments to images, and to automatically sync the date, time and location information with that of the device. You can also take still shots remotely, directly from the SnapBridge app, with a real-time display of the view from the camera’s lens on the smart device screen.
