Nikon Z 5 FX-format Mirrorless Camera Body
Your full frame journey begins with the Z 5. Simple yet sophisticated, compact yet powerful, the Z 5 is built to grow with you. It’s everything you’d expect from a full frame mirrorless camera —intense detail, expansive views, brilliant low light capabilities, 4K video and more—plus all the innovative tools you need to push the limits of your creativity.
Detailed 24MP Images
The Nikon Z 5 Mirrorless Camera captures intensively detailed 24MP full-frame images and 4K UHD videos. It offers a superb 273-point autofocus system that can focus near the edges, detect and follow eyes and track subjects. With built-in VR image stabilization, the camera can capture sharp, stabilized photos and videos even when shooting handheld.
Power and Stability
Z 5 is powered by Nikon’s fast, comprehensive EXPEED 6 image processing system. It is the reason why the camera features sensational photo and video quality as well as auto-focus, low light capabilities, image clarity, distortion control and more. NIKKOR Z lenses activate 5-axis VR image stabilization giving you 5 stops of stabilization in up to 5 directions. The Z 5 is also compatible with F-Mount NIKKOR lenses as well.
Silent Mode
With this mode you can capture photos with no need to worry about drawing attention to yourself. When taking photos of pets and wildlife this camera mode is ideal for it.
See Clearly
Easily see the photo you are going to take in real time with the Z 5's superb electronic viewfinder. Once you put your eye to it, it activates giving you a high resolution and glare-free view of how your photo will look. All features are visible in real time such as ISO, picture controls, white balance and exposure.
Flash of Genius
Easily make your subjects stand out, enhance natural light or fill in shadows thanks to the Z 5's compatibility with Nikon's Creative Lighting System.
Dual SD Card Slots
Carry more storage with the dual SD card slot capability that the Z 5 comes with. This will allow you to do things like separate file types like RAW and JPEG or still and videos. You can also set up automatic back up and overflow storage.
Record Beautiful Videos
Shoot 4K Ultra HD footage using all the advantages of mirrorless technology and the Z system’s high-performance optics.
Easily create beautiful time-lapse movies. Set up Z 5 on a tripod or stable surface, compose your shot, set your time interval and number of shots and let the camera do the rest. You can simultaneously create your timelapse movie in-camera and save the full resolution stills.
Creative Features
The Nikon Z 5 comes packed with creative features, including timelapse, multiple exposures, creative picture controls and focus shift photography. Establish a wireless connection between the Nikon Z 5 FX-format Mirrorless Camera and a compatible smartphone, tablet or PC for quickly transferring images or controlling the camera remotely along with live image preview for photos and videos.
Easily Pair and Share
Connect to the Z 5 to the SnapBridge app once and that's it! Your phone and camera will be bonded for life. You can set it to automatically transfer photos or manually transfer the ones you want yourself. When you can't be behind your camera, easily take out your phone and see what the camera sees, change settings and take the photo or record video. You can also do a wireless transfer of your images to your MAC or PC with Wi-Fi.
Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens
The Nikon Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S Lens is a standard zoom lens that is anything but standard. Perfect for professionals looking for an all-purpose versatile lens, the new Nikon Z Series is the most revolutionary and innovative mirrorless lens series around. Covering wide-angle to normal length zoom range, this lens delivers uncanny sharpness, vibrance and lighting across the entire frame. A bright constant f/4 maximum aperture gives you sharp and clear images even in low light conditions. Dual Detect 5-axis VR works with the Z Series camera's optical image stabilization to correct unwanted blurs and shakes.
Better Design
The Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 lens was built to keep up with the highest performance imaging system in the world. The optical design features 14 lens elements in 11 groups, including aspherical extra-low dispersion glass elements that minimize coma, chromatic aberrations, and other types of lens aberrations. The AS-ED glass was developed by Nikon to bring you images with clearly defined sharpness and minimal distortion. Special fluorine coating protects against weather, dust, grease, and dirt so that this lens can handle the toughest storms and harshest conditions.
Sharper Images
Powered by a stepping motor, the autofocus is fast, quiet, and accurate. The high speed AF provides a versatile shooting experience. An anti-reflective nano crystal coating virtually eliminates internal lens element reflections to effectively remove unwanted ghosting and flaring while the Super integrated coating aid the optical element’s light transmission. The constant f/4 maximum aperture produces extremely sharp and consistent results. An electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism in the lens barrel provides highly accurate aperture control when using auto exposure.
Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter
Adapt Nikon DSLR lenses to Z series mirrorless cameras.
The Mount Adapter FTZ II is the bridge between legendary NIKKOR glass and Z series mirrorless cameras, now with a streamlined design. It seamlessly adapts the F-Mount to the larger Z-Mount, retaining the image quality, autofocus performance*, weather sealing and comfortable handling of any mounted lens. Keep using the lenses you love with the most innovative camera bodies available.
No loss of image quality or speed.
There is no glass inside of Mount Adapter FTZ II, which means nothing gets between your lens and your image sensor. F-mount lenses retain all of their superb image quality with no loss of brightness, contrast or speed.
Stabilized by the camera body.
Experience fast aperture NIKKOR primes like the AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED with up to 5 stops of 3-axis VR* image stabilization. NIKKOR lenses that already have VR, like the AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR, get the added benefit of roll axis for a total of 3-axis VR*.
*When used on a Z series camera with in-body VR.
Streamlined design.
The streamlined design of the Mount Adapter FTZ II means comfortable shooting in any direction, including vertically. With no tripod mount of its own, it also accommodates wider tripod plates on your camera, the MB-N11 battery grip and WT-7A wireless transmitter.
Weather sealed. Durable.
Built from magnesium alloy, the Mount Adapter FTZ II is strong and lightweight with a durable finish. It's extensively weather-sealed to preserve the performance of pro-level cameras and lenses. And it makes a precise fit with the camera and lens, crucial for meticulous performance.
