The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/4.0 PRO is a compact, lightweight super telephoto lens that can work with handheld photography. It has a powerful 6-step compensation synchronized in-lens and in-body I.S. The closest focusing distance is 1.4m, and the maximum image magnification of 0.48x (35mm equivalent) tele-macro photography. It has a splash, dust and freezeproof design. Use the L-fn button to switch between the manual focus clutch and automatic shooting. The body image stabilization and lens image stabilization work together to reduce blur. It has 3 Super ED Lenses suppress color bleeding and chromatic aberrations, and thin GKL lenses for fast autofocus. ZERO and Nano Coating Z reduce ghosting and flares. The AF speed of 300ms or less with OM-D E-M1, and the OM-D Silent Shutter and 300mm f/4.0 PRO Lens allows for discreet telephoto shooting. This lens is a great solution for sports, nature photography, and any kind of long distance handheld shooting.

World’s Most Powerful 6-step in-lens Image Stabilization. It allows for hand-held shooting at 600mm equivalent is possible thanks to the combination of body IS and 5-axis Sync In-Lens Image Stabilization. This feature is useful to reduce blur when using the lens for handheld shooting, especially when shooting from a moving platform like a car or a boat.

The Super ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses remove peripheral chromatic aberration and color bleeding. This means it has a higher image quality than even the world-renowned Four Thirds Zuiko Digital ED 300mm f/2.8 lens at f/4.0. The lens coating technology suppresses reflected light to minimize ghosts and flares for extremely sharp images. The fast, precise Autofocus helps to quickly acquire a small fast moving object for a distance, making it great for sports photography.

The maximum image magnification is 0.48x (35mm equivalent). Maximum image magnification with an optional MC-14 teleconverter is 0.67x (35mm equivalent). Free-angle shooting allows for new degree of control over composition. This is really the only lens on the market for insect photographers thanks to MFD, Sync IS, superfast AF.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.
