Panasonic LUMIX S PRO 50mm f/1.4 L-Mount Lens
The LUMIX S PRO 70-200mm f/4 O.I.S. is an L-Mount telephoto zoom lens designed for the new Panasonic LUMIX S series. Suitable for wide-ranging situations, from portraits to sports, this lens provides high-resolution, high-contrast images across the entire zoom range.
Optical Construction
The lens’ optical system utilizes 23 lenses in 17 groups. It features an aspherical lens and three ED (Extralow Dispersion) lenses that effectively suppress both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration of magnification producing high quality images. The optimum lens alignment helps achieve beautiful bokeh effect with minimum vignetting.
O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer)
The built-in O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) effectively compensates for the hand-shake movement, making it easy to shoot even without a tripod or in low-lit situations. When combined with the camera’s Body I.S., the 5-Axis Dual I.S. 2 makes it possible to use 6-stop slower shutter speed.
Quick Focusing System
The lens incorporates a high-precision linear motor to achieve sensor drive at a maximum speed of 480 fps for fast auto focusing. It also features an instant AF/MF switching with accurate manual focusing, thanks to an internal clutch mechanism. The LUMIX S PRO 70-200mm Lens also suppresses focus breathing making it more suitable for video recording.
Rugged Body
Built to withstand harsh conditions, the lens comes with a rugged dust/splash-resistant design that can survive even in temperature as low as -10°C. It also accepts filters with 77mm diameter.
