The Panasonic LUMIX S PRO 50mm f/1.4 is a large-aperture fixed focal-length lens interchangeable with LUMIX S series L-Mount full-frame camera bodies. Its 50mm focal length and high-speed f/1.4 aperture ensure versatile use and stunning resolution from center to corners of your image despite its large aperture. It provides a smooth defocus gradation from the focus peak to the remaining area of the image producing a beautiful bokeh – suitable for portrait photography.

Lens Elements

The optical design comprises 13 lenses in 11 groups, utilizing two aspherical lenses and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses that effectively suppress both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration of magnification.

Focus System

This Panasonic LUMIX PRO lens offers fast, high-precision AF to capture every photo opportunity. It uses a double focus system that combines a linear motor and stepping motor to achieve sensor drive at a maximum speed of 480 fps. Thanks to the built-in focus clutch mechanism, instant AF/MF switching and accurate manual focusing is easy. Additionally, the lens is capable of suppressing focus breathing that makes it an excellent choice for video recording.
