Perfectly suitable for film production, the LUMIX S1H Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera is scaled to a hand-held design, but without compromising on the professional-level standards. It utilizes a newly developed 24.2-megapixel full-frame image sensor complies with the new Dual Native ISO. When combined with the Venus Engine image processor, the camera produces high-contrast images with minimum noise. The LUMIX S1H Camera provides 14+ stops of dynamic range and V-Log / V-Gamut functions. With superior functionality that slots effortlessly into the professional workflow, the Panasonic S1H is also designed for active filming in the field when attached to a gimbal or drone.

5-Axis Dual I.S. 2.0 Image Stabilizer

The built-in 5-axis Dual Image Stabilizer with intelligent compensation provides an equivalent to 6.5-stop exposure compensation producing sharp photos at slower shutter speeds. This lets you capture shake-free photos as well as 4K videos.

Unlimited Recording Time

Thanks to unique heat dispersion technologies, the LUMIX S1H offers unlimited recording time in all recording modes. The mirrorless camera includes HDR (High Dynamic Range) in HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording and output through HDMI. Anamorphic 4:3 modes are also available together with a variety of practical tools for film making, such as tally lights, a waveform monitor and a V-Log View Assist function (LUT Viewer).

1.8-inch High-Resolution Status LCD

The newly developed high-resolution 1.8-inch status LCD presents optimal information for still photography or videography. Time code and audio information can be customized with switchable black or white backgrounds.

5.76M-dot Resolution Real Viewfinder

The large Real View Finder boasts outstanding resolution of 5.76 million dots. The responsive OLED display offers an extremely low 0.005-second minimum lag time and an ultra-high 120 fps refresh rate.

Built Tough for Rugged Conditions  

The camera is dust and splash-resistant and designed for use in temperatures as low as 10-degree-C. Dust and splash resistant performance does not guarantee that damage will not occur if the camera is subjected to direct contact with dust and water.

Night Mode

When shooting dark scenes like starry skies, this mode suppresses the stimulation of eyes that have become accustomed to the dark. The LVF and rear monitor can be set separately.

Live View Boost

The display is brightened by lowering the frame rate and increasing the gain. This lets you shoot while framing, even in extremely dark situations.

L-Mount Lens System

The LUMIX S1H full-frame mirrorless camera system adopts the L-Mount system to provide users with a diverse and future-proof range of products. Currently more than 46 interchangeable lenses including 11 or more LUMIX S/S Pro lenses are available or will be available from Panasonic, Leica Camera and Sigma to choose from and a variety of mount adapters/converters further expand the opportunities to use even more lenses. The L-Mount thereby opens up an almost limitless spectrum of new creative possibilities.

Ninja’s wide range of codecs makes it compatible with all major editing software packages. Virtually any HDMI or SDI source is supported, including cameras from Nikon, FujiFilm, Canon, Panasonic, Sony, Z-Cam, Sigma, Olympus, RED, and ARRI.

Ninja & ProRes RAW

Over 55 cameras which now support RAW recording over HDMI on the Ninja and this list is still growing. Apple ProRes RAW combines the visual and workflow benefits of RAW video with the incredible real-time performance of ProRes. It gives filmmakers enormous latitude to adjust the look of their images, making it ideal for HDR workflows. The new Apple ProRes RAW plug-in adds camera-specific characteristics to the mix. 

Ninja owners can now record RAW over SDI with compatible cameras using the Atomos Connect module. These new features make the Ninja even more versatile, providing professional I/O options for a multitude of cameras – from entry-level mirrorless cameras through to the latest compact cinema and high-end professional cameras. 

Ninja & Atomos Connect module

Add an Atomos Connect module to the Ninja to access to cloud workflows like C2C, Atomos Edit, and Atomos RemoteView via Atomos Cloud Studio. Connect also features 12G-SDI, AirGlu wireless timecode and control, Wi-Fi 6, and GigE Ethernet.

Access to Atomos RemoteView with a subscription to Atomos Cloud Services, using Atomos Credits for a simple 'pay as you go service'. Atomos RemoteView is a unique new service that lets you share what’s on your Atomos screen with other Atomos users, as well as with iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs wirelessly. You can monitor what’s happening on-set and look through the camera taking the shot. What’s more, you can do this remotely from anywhere in the world. NDI with Atomos Connect

NDI is a way to send video over ordinary networks (including Wi-Fi and Mobile) in high quality but with remarkably low bandwidth requirements. It’s increasingly used in live production, and now your Ninja can take part in an NDI network. The NDI TX option turns your Connect-enabled Ninja into an NDI source, visible to all other NDI-compatible devices on the local network.
