Firmware Update
Listening to creators’ needs, S5II Firmware V3.0 and S5IIX Firmware V2.0 deliver efficiency in both production and post-production workflows, providing important time (and therefore cost) saving benefits. The firmware updates improve the shooting experience and enhances sharing functionality - compatibility with Adobe Camera to Cloud (Frame.io) and Proxy video recording; improved basic performance with improved real-time AF recognition system (animal eye, car, and motorcycle recognition); enhanced E.I.S. performance by adding HIGH mode in the E-stabilization (video) and a perspective distortion correction.

Panasonic LUMIX S 24-105mm f/4 L-Mount Macro OIS Lens
The Panasonic LUMIX S-R24105 24-105mm f/4 Macro Lens with OIS is a versatile standard zoom lens covering wide-angle to medium-telephoto with high-descriptive performance across the entire zoom range. The LUMIX S Macro Lens enables 0.5x macro shooting with a minimum focus distance of 0.3m so you can photograph small subjects at very close distances. This macro lens is compatible with the interchangeable Full Frame L-Mount.
Optical Image Stabilizer

Panasonic LUMIX S 50mm f/1.8 L-Mount Lens (Full-Frame Format)
The LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 is a large-diameter standard lens compatible with all L-mount cameras for maximum versatility, yet it has a compact size and weight. Ideal for a wide range of photography, from landscape to portraits and snapshots, this lens uses three aspherical lenses to achieve both high depiction performance and beautiful bokeh. An excellent choice for video, it suppresses breathing during focus and realizes smooth exposure change by micro step control of the aperture, enabling high-quality video expression. By using one ED lens, chromatic aberration is well suppressed.
This compact, lightweight, and dust, splash, and low-temperature resistant lens is easy to carry and dependable even when shooting outdoors.
The LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 is comprised of nine lens elements in eight groups including three aspherical lenses, one ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lens, and one UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens. The use of three aspherical lenses realizes both high descriptive performance and beautiful bokeh, which are common advantages to the series of all F1.8 lenses. It is suitable for snapshots including portrait to landscape.
The ED lens effectively suppresses chromatic aberration. The LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 also excels in video recording performance with a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing, which was a fatal problem of all interchangeable lenses designed for still image photography. Together with a micro-step aperture control for smooth exposure change, professional-quality video can be recorded.
With its compact, approximately 300g of lightweight, the LUMIX S 50mm F1.8 features stunning mobility. The rugged dust/splash-resistant* design withstands use under harsh conditions even at 10 degrees below zero for high mobility. The filter diameter is 67 mm, with a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm.
