Pentax is ushering in the next generation of high performance camera lenses with the HD Pentax-DA* 11-18mm f/2.8 ED DC AW lens. This dynamic interchangeable lens was designed for complete compatibility with Pentax’s full frame series of DSLR cameras such as the Pentax K1. The Pentax 11-18mm f/2.8 DC AW HD DA* Lens features a 35mm focal length equivalent of 17-27.5mm, making it ideal for everyday shooting situations. With an ultra-sharp f/2.8 maximum aperture provides a beautiful bokeh effect while simultaneously delivering clear, bright images. Pentax is making high performance, high resolution photos an everyday standard with this exceptional lens.
Crystal Clear Images
You can capture crystal clear images thanks to the Pentax 11-18mm lens’ incredible f/2.8 maximum aperture. This dynamic lens features 15 lens elements in 9 groups, including two ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses that help to prevent spherical and chromatic aberrations and provide high-fidelity, error free pictures.
Advanced Autofocus
A newly developed DC autofocus motor helps you obtain clear views of your subjects in just seconds. The DC motor has enormous driving power that enables smooth, high-speed shifting of the rear lens group during focusing.
Optical Technology
The Pentax-DA* 11-18mm f/2.8 lens has been treated with Pentax’s specially developed Aero Bright II Coating, which employs nanotechnology for a super-low refractive film fabrication process. This process is combined with the multi-layer HD Coating to effectively eliminate unwanted flare and ghosting. The HD Pentax-DA* is part of the New Generation Star Series that delivers the best image quality with sharpness from edge to edge.
Weather Resistant Construction
Built for durability, the D FA* 11-18mm f/2.8 can operate in almost any weather condition for unique and creative shots. Developed as an All Weather (AW) lens, it features a dustproof and weather resistant structure with 8 special seals to prevent water or dust intrusion. SP (Super Protect) Coating effectively repels water and grease on the front of the lens. There’s no limit to where this lens can go, especially when paired with a weatherproof DSLR camera.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
