Sony Alpha a7II Mirrorless Digital Camera (Body Only)
Sony Alpha a7II is a full-frame mirrorless camera with 5-axis image stabilization that compensates for camera shake to provide sharp, crisp images with a wide range of mountable lenses. It comes with an enhanced Fast Hybrid AF system that delivers fast focusing, wide coverage, and effective tracking of fast-moving subjects. The Sony Alpha a7II comes packed with features like 5 fps AF/AE shooting, high-bitrate XAVC S format support, S-Log2 Gamma setting, Picture profiling, one-touch remote and one-touch sharing and more.
24.3MP Exmor CMOS Sensor
The Sony a7II employs a 35mm full-frame Exmor CMOS sensor that helps capture stunning images with 24.3MP resolution. The sensor also offers a sensitivity range of ISO 100-25600 for amazing low-light performance with low noise. Combined with the powerful BIONZ X image processor, the camera supports up to 5 fps continuous shooting and high-50Mb/s XAVC S video recording.
Pro-Quality XAVC S Format
Sony a7 II mirrorless’ high-bitrate XAVC S format movie recording format allows for outstanding image quality and minimal noise. It records Full HD (1920 x 1080) videos at 50 Mbps speed and uses linear PCM sound for high-quality sound recording. The XAVC S format was developed based on the professional XAVC 4K/HD format.
XGA OLED Tru-Finder
The a7 II mirrorless digital camera uses an XGA OLED Tru-Finder viewfinder that offers impressive visibility for stress-free, intuitive operation. It displays the effects of various camera settings that let you accurately monitor your final image. Moreover, an advanced three-lens optical system offers rich tonal gradation and extremely high contrast.
5 fps AF/AE Shooting
When your subject is moving fast, 5 fps continuous AF/AE shooting lets you capture decisive moments with sharp, well-exposed results. An improved algorithm accurately predicts subject movement that helps track subjects even when shooting continuously. Plus, an enhanced Fast Hybrid AF system delivers high-speed response, accurate prediction, and wide area coverage for autofocusing and tracking.
5-Axis Image Stabilization
The Alpha a7 II compensates for five types of camera shake during handheld shooting for both stills and videos. The system’s highly effective 4.5-step compensation gives a confidence boost when you zoom in on faraway subjects, snap detailed close-ups, capture night scenes and more.
Picture Profile, S-Log2, and More
The a7II comes with S-Log2 gamma settings, which is a common feature to Sony’s range of professional video cameras. S-Log expands the dynamic range by up to 1300% to minimize clipped highlights and loss of detail in shadows. The camera includes a Picture Profile that can easily adjust settings like gamma, black, level, and color adjustment, which can be saved during multi-camera shoots. Others features includes a Full HD base band HDMI output, time code/user bit for easier editing, synchronous recording feature with compatible devices, various marker and zebra displays on the LCD screen and viewfinder.
Wi-Fi and NFC Wireless Connectivity
With Wi-Fi, you can easily connect the Sony Alpha a7 II to your smartphones for One-touch sharing and One-touch remote features. In addition to Wi-Fi support, the camera also supports NFC (near field communication) for one-touch connection convenience when transferring images to NFC-enabled Android smartphones and tablets.
