The Profoto D2 500 AirTTL Monolight is a compact and versatile photo studio light with TTL and HSS. Designed for heavy-duty shooting, it is the fastest monolight with TTL - offering 1/63,000 flash duration, 20 flashes per second speed and the ability to overpower the available light in almost any situation. Use the point-and-shoot in TTL Mode or switch to the Manual mode to control the light with intuitive buttons and menus. Perfect for shooting portraits in the studio, the D2 500 AirTTL is just as good for product and even sports photography with its Freeze mode and shutter speeds up to 1/8,000 with HSS.
Freeze the Moment
The D2 can provide super quick flash durations up to 1/63,000 of a second. Shoot a splash of water and it will be frozen in mid-air – a photographic work of art.
Catch the Moment
The D2 can shoot up to 20 flashes per second. That’s fast enough to catch the best of any moment. Ask your subject to jump and you’ll have 20 mid-air exposures to choose from.
Control Your Surroundings
Profoto High-Speed Sync (HSS) enables you to shoot with shutter speeds up to 1/8,000 of a second. Use HSS to shoot with large aperture in bright conditions or to freeze action with absolute sharpness.
Shoot with Ease Using TTL
Point-and-shoot in TTL Mode. Switch to Manual Mode and control the light with intuitive buttons and menus. Forget about the flash and focus on the light.
Overpower Any Light
The D2 packs enough of punch to overpower the available light in almost any situation. Its power is also a blessing when shooting at larger distances or when using larger Light Shaping Tools.
HSS
The D2 unit supports HSS when used with any of optional Air Remote TTL transceivers. HSS enables shooting with the flash at a faster shutter speed than the fastest external flash sync speed of the camera. This option can be extremely useful to limit the influence of ambient light when shooting in bright light conditions.

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days.

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
