Designed as a centerpiece to control your whole studio, the Novation 49SL MkIII Keyboard Controller works perfectly alongside your DAW. It comes packed with a 49-note synth-style semi-weighted keybed with vibrant on-key RGB LED feedback, an eight-track polyphonic sequencer, velocity-sensitive RGB pads with multiple functions and offers a comprehensive connectivity including MIDI and CV/gate. The Novation SL MkIII Controller lets you play and create the music you love.

Synth-Style Semi-Weighted Keybed

The SL MkIII features a 49-note synth-style semi-weighted keybed with velocity-sensitive RGB pads that have multiple functions. High scan rate of 10 kHz gives the keys a super dynamic feel for expressive performances. Scales, modes and zones are visible with vibrant on-key RGB LED feedback. The RGB pads can be used for launching clips, as steps in the sequencer, for finger drumming, and have polyphonic aftertouch. Pitch and Modulation wheels also have RGB LEDs that change color to show what track you're working on.

Built-In Eight-Track Pattern-Based Sequencer

The integrated eight-track polyphonic pattern-based sequencer lets you record notes as you play them, or input step-by-step. You can play and edit your sequences directly from the keyboard. You can also record parameter automation straight onto the sequencer. Choose an arp type, set a sync rate, tweak note and pattern lengths, and then use the pads to design your rhythms in real time.

Use the SL MkIII Keyboard Controller to integrate your DAW with your favorite hardware and enjoy all the controls at your fingertips - no need to connect a computer. SL MkIII lets you control everything with customizable mappings for your hardware and software and also helps creates your own in the software editor.

Novation together with Ableton has worked to create an unprecedented integration with Live. This keyboard controller features five color LCD screens that give you full visibility of your parameters. It also features pads, buttons, eight faders, and eight knobs to get you hands-on with your music in any major music software, using InControl.

The Novation SL MkIII offers a comprehensive connectivity with multiple interfaces like USB port; MIDI (IN, OUT, OUT2/THRU); sustain, expression, and footswitch inputs; Analogue Clock Out; and two sets of CV Pitch, Gate, and Mod outputs that can be used to route anything anywhere.
