Covering the most common prime lens mm lineup, the 24-35mm f/2 DG HSM was designed for prime lens performance with the versatility of a zoom lens. With a focal range of 24-35mm and an f/stop as high as 2, this lens allows for very artistic shots with a wide range of depth of field. Premium FLD glass, with performance equal to flourite, and seven SLD glass elements allow for outstanding image quality and true to life colors. A large diameter aspherical lens, a complicated element to manufacture, allows for a stunning level of brightness and helps to ensure that you get the best photo every time. This complicated optical formula creates outstanding image quality throughout the focal range, and even at the widest of apertures. An updated AF algorithm makes for smooth, accurate and fast autofocusing while multi layer coating control flare and ghosting. Thanks to a complete and comprehensive approach to the correction of chromatic aberrations, you will experience incredible image clarity and smoothness.
