Handle Big Payloads

It features carbon fiber axis arms that allow more balancing space for professional cameras. It is ideal for cameras like the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 with 24-70mm F2.8 lenses. To ensure more stable camera mounting with an extended lower quick release plate that is convenient to set up. The fine-tuning knob has been added for forwarding and backward camera movement to be more precise. RS 3 Pro can be balanced with less friction and lower resistance, even when mounting heavy cameras thanks to Teflon-coated components.

Automated Axis Locks

Get started fast by a simple press and holding the power button and the three axes unlock and expand, thus allowing you to start shooting within a few seconds. By pressing the power button once the axes automatically lock and enter sleep mode, making it more efficient.

High-Capacity Payloads

The design of RS 3 Pro is such that it weighs the same as RS 2 at just 1.5 kg/3.3 lbs. But its load capacity is a robust 4.5 kg/10 lbs, delivering powerful support in a lightweight body.

Wireless Shutter Control

RS 3 Pro is equipped with Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology to achieve an efficient and reliable wireless shutter control. You can also do Bluetooth pairing through which you can control video and photo shooting by pressing the record button on the stabilizer. A camera that was paired previously will automatically reconnect, saving you time with every ensuing use.

Instant Mode Switching

Alternate between Pan follow Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes by sliding the new Gimbal Mode Switch. The FPV mode selection is also customizable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom, allowing you to adjust your equipment and get started fast.

Bigger is Better

It features a built-in 1.8-inch OLED full-color touchscreen that is 28% bigger than RS 2. Through this touchscreen, you can conveniently set parameters, check shooting status, and frame your tracked subjects. Every setting is more intuitive and precise. This screen offers higher brightness than the LCD screen of RS 2 with lower power consumption.

Sleek Carbon Fiber Construction

The arms of  RS 3 Pro are constructed from layered sheets of uncut carbon fiber. This makes it lighter and stronger, increases stiffness, and lowers the weight to cope with even more demanding shooting environments.

LiDAR Assistance

RS 3 Pro features Ronin 4D’s LiDAR focusing technology that can project 43,200 ranging points within a 14-meter distance. It features a built-in camera with an equivalent focal length of 30 mm and a wide FOV of 70-degree, catering to the focusing needs of most scenarios. RS 3 Pro supports Wide Mode and Spot Mode. Under Wide Mode, the range finder automatically detects the subject and follows focus and under Spot Mode users can manually frame or tap the subject to focus.

All-New Focus Motor

The DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) provides reduces noise by 50% and torque three times stronger (up to 1 N·m). This brings a smoother focusing experience and reduces the effect on audio recording.
