Specially designed for use with Panasonic LUMIX S-Series Mirrorless Full-Frame Cameras, this LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm f/4 is a versatile wide zoom lens L-mount lens. This compact, lightweight lens features high-quality glass elements placed in optimum alignment to produce high-resolution imagery with both stills and videos. It can accept filters up to 77mm in diameter.

Lens Construction

The Panasonic LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm f/4’s lens design utilizes 12 elements in 9 groups featuring three aspherical lenses, an ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens and a UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens. These elements are optimally aligned to achieve high MTF performance in spite of its compact size and light weight. The lens features a 9-blade circular aperture diaphragm and offers edge-to-edge sharpness even at wide open as well as a beautiful bokeh.

Autofocus Actuator

The lens incorporates a double-magnet linear motor that allows for fast, high-precision AF. Despite its small size, the motor can achieve sensor drive at a maximum speed of 480 fps that ensures you never miss shot. A focus clutch mechanism allows for easy AF/MF switching and accurate manual focusing.

Optimized for Video Recording

Focus breathing has always been a fatal problem in all interchangeable lenses, which are designed for still image photography. The LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm f/4 Zoom Lens uses an internal mechanism that suppresses focus breathing for astonishing video recording performance. It also features a micro-step aperture control for smooth exposure change.

Rugged Dust/Splash-Resistant Design

With a rugged dust/splash-resistant design, this L-mount lens is designed to withstand harsh conditions even at 10 degrees below zero.
