Construction

The RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro lens is comprised of 11 lens elements in 9 groups. The rear elements capitalize on the short flange back of the RF system, with the large diameter contributing to the high optical performance and making RF lenses much smaller than their Canon EF counterparts. An aspheric element in the focusing group reduces aberrations during focusing. Super Spectra coating minimizes ghosting and flare for stunning clarity and image quality.
