Optical Features

The Vortex 10x50 Razor HD Binoculars utilize an APO (apochromatic optical system) that combines with the HD glass to give you unparalleled color sharpness. The Premium HD glass delivers the ultimate resolution and color fidelity to bring you amazing high definition images. With 10x magnification on the 50mm lenses, these Vortex Optics Razor HD binoculars give you a farther reach for more incredible images. Razor’s XR Plus fully multi-coated lenses provide premium proprietary coating that delivers high levels of light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings for maximum brightness on all glass surfaces.

Construction

The Vortex Optics 10x50 Roof Prism Binoculars are lightweight yet tough enough to last through the harshest elements. The magnesium build is layered under a tough rubber armored exterior to provide a durable exterior that is waterproof and fogproof for a secure, non-slip grip and external protection. ArmorTek technology is coated on the exterior to protect against scratches, dirt, and oil. The open hinge design of the Razor HD binoculars delivers superior ergonomics while decreasing the total bulk.

Convenience

10x50 Razor HD Binoculars feature multi-position eyecups that you can twist up and down for precise setting that maximizes your comfort. The center focus wheel gives you the ultimate control and adjusts the focus of both binocular barrels simultaneously. The Vortex Optics Binocular are compatible with a tripod adapter so that you can enjoy more precise and error-free images.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Birding I purchased the Razor HD 8x32 from the wonderful store, Jay's Bird Barn in Prescott, Arizona about two years ago. I use them primarily for birding and occasionally for astronomy (the Beehive Cluster is a fantastic sight through these things). For birding they are great for close work such as my back yard Hummingbird feeder just 10 feet from the chair on my deck. For medium distances they also provide excellent, wonderfully clear views.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs a better storage case This review is on the storage and not the optics. I have used a chest bino harness for the last 8 years. This new style that doesn’t make a good seal is just a no go for me and something this expensive. I called vortex to talk about it and they simply said this is what it is and offered no solution. I expressed that wasn’t acceptable still no solution. I expressed I would find a aftermarket solution. I purchased a large size claim shell case and am very happy with the fit. These binos will never be chest carried and this is a much better solution and should be factory

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great glass for the money, BUT HEAVY! I like these 12x50’s immensely. Except they are 10oz heavier than stated on this website (28.7oz stated, actual 38.7oz). Because of the excess weight, I would not buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Razor 10x50 I wrecked on my motorbike and cracked my gen 1 razor 10x50 binos. Vortex emailed me back within hours and I sent them off. Unfortunately they werent repairable but the folks at Vortex got me a new pair. The new pair is 10x the glass, lighter, crisper and compact. Love these guys! Isn’t the first time they’ve taken care of me in a pinch and likely won’t be the last! Thanks guys and thanks for great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the specs I wear eyeglasses and it is great if a set of binos gives me the option to view without removing my glasses. The UHD 10x50 allows this, and so does the Razor HD 8x42. They are better than the Viper 8x42 in this respect even though the eye relief on the spec sheet is less. Friendly reminder that the effective eye relief is never just the eye relief on a spec sheet, especially when comparing different brands/lines. Glass? Exceptional, as you'd expect with the Razor name. Easy handling, great glass, large exit pupil, and great eye relief have made these my go-to bino. Love my UHD 10x50, but the 8x42 is 12 ounces lighter and easier to live with.
