How does the program work?

Focus is proud to support full-time college students and educators based in the US by offering discounts on a wide variety of products. Once approved, you could save thousands on the latest photography and electronics gear.  

To register for the program, we need to confirm your eligibility via ID.me. You’ll be required to provide some personal information, including your SSN and a current class schedule or transcript. Please allow a few minutes for ID.me to review and approve your application. Once approved, your verified status will be automatically linked to your Focus account.

Frequently asked questions

When you land on the product page of a particular item, you will be able to see whether the price is discounted. You will only be able to view special educational pricing if you are logged into your Focus Camera account.

All members can enjoy up to 20% off select items. These prices are often not stackable with other promotions. Please check the terms and conditions of each promotion individually to determine eligibility.

Yes. Simply log into your Focus Camera account (on this page) and complete the ID.me verification form. Once verified we will link your account to the Student and Educator Discount Program.

All student memberships are valid until graduation. Educator memberships are valid for 5 years.

If you have received verification through email, you will need to log back into your Focus Camera account and press the 'Verify with ID.me' button at the top of this page. This will ensure that you are registered for the program.

Only educators and college students are able to apply with ID.me, however many of the discounts we offer apply to high school students as well. If you are a high school student, please email edu@focuscamera.com with your full name, school, graduation date, as well as an image of your current student ID and either class schedule, transcript or curriculum.

*Education discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, including free products with purchase, discount codes, or cash back programs. Please note, not all products qualify for a discount. Focus reserves the right to remove discounts at any time, and remove any student or educator who is found to be using the program inappropriately.
