The Sekonic L-478DR-U-El is a multi-functional, touch-screen-operated light meter that provides rich, storytelling ability to the professional photographer. Backed by a small, compact build and a large color LCD (2.7”) that displays flash, cine, ambient and other information in a clear and easy-to-understand way, when it comes to everyday use, this light meter offers supreme comfort and familiarity. Settings are made with a simple touch of the finger and the L-478DR-U-El  meter can quickly be calibrated to your camera using Sekonic's Data Transfer software and either Sekonic or X-Rite Brand targets or by manually inputting data to the DTS program on the meter itself.

A huge asset for both the still and motion photographer, this light meter offers a host of features to enhance performance. These includes built-in PocketWizard for wireless triggering, wireless flash power control via PocketWizard ControlTL technology, a built-in radio module with antenna and custom exposure profiles for up to 10 cameras. The Sekonic L-478DR also has the ability to output measurements in a variety of 12 different modes that cover ambient, strobe, wireless strobe and cine use cases.

In a nod to filmmakers, the L-478DR offers an infinite frame rate and shutter angle selection, a unique, light-source filtration compensation mode, illumination measurement and extended ISO range. 

Additionally, the L-478DR-E’s custom-built Elinchrom Skyport technology combines light measurement and flash power control to provide amazing control in your hand. The system transmits at 2.4GHz and uses signal protocols that are unique to Elinchrom's Skyport wireless triggering/control system.

For Still Photographers
