The Large Mirrorless Core Unit provides shockproof protection for Mirrorless, SLR, and DSLR cameras and lenses, and it ensures a user never carries more padding and weight than necessary. It integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Action X30 and Explore V2 30 backpacks, and it maxes out the interior equipment carrying volume of both packs. It will also fit in every available Shimoda backpack and roller except for the Explore V2 25. It includes all the popular features of the Core Unit system, including EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support. The Mirrorless depth is ideal for mirrorless and non-gripped DSLR cameras up to 12 cm (4.7-inch) tall along with lenses longer than 70-200mm 2.8.

The X50 has 4 height options with approximately 4 inch of vertical adjustment. This means the same backpack can fit short or tall - male or female - torso heights, ensuring a custom fit for everyone.

Core Units provide shockproof protection for Mirrorless, SLR, and DSLR cameras and lenses, and they ensure a user never carries more padding and weight than necessary. A user can increase their layout options with two or more Core Units by stacking and shifting how they are placed in our camera pack.
