Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 IV 20.1MP Digital Camera (Black)
Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 IV Digital Camera is one of the most versatile and progressively designed Cyber-shots to ever hit the market! This incredibly versatile point-and-shoot easily produces crisp high-resolution still images along with Ultra HD 4K video. This model features a 1.0 type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor with advanced signal processing along with an integrated DRAM memory chip. You will experience 16 fps of continuous shooting along with Super Slow Motion frame rates of up to 960 fps while in video recording.
Sony designed the RX100 IV with a sleek body that feels great in your hands in any situation. It sports both an electronic viewfinder and an LCD screen. The 0.39-inch 2,359k-dot SVGA OLED Tru-Finder provides a bright, clear means for eye-level viewing that features a unique pop-up mechanism to maintain the compact form factor of the camera when carrying. The 3-inch 1,229k-dot Xtra Fine LCD incorporates WhiteMagic technology increases visibility in bright conditions. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with NFC means you will enjoy instant image sharing to, as well as remote camera control and monitoring from, linked mobile devices.
20.1MP Stacked Exmor RS CMOS Sensor
The DSC-RX100 IV sports a large 20.1 megapixel 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor. This sensor is engineered with stacked backside-illuminated technology, which improves image clarity and quality when shooting in low-light situations. This stacking process also increases sensitivity to a native ISO 12,800. The light-gather ability of the Exmor RS CMOS is increased even further by placing the camera's photodiodes over the sensor's processing structure.
UHG 4K Video Recording
Sony designed the RX100 IV to capture ultra-high definition video in short 4K clips of up to five minutes with no line skipping or pixel binning. High-bitrate shooting is maximized by the AVC 5 format delivering professional video quality levels. You will also enjoy the ability to capture Super Slow Motion High Fame Rate movies which are up to 40x slower than real time. These slow motion clips are recorded at 960 fps, 480 fps or 240 fps and can then be played back at 1920 x 1080, in 60p, 30p, or 24p when the camera is set to NTSC. When set to PAL, slow motion clips are recorded at 1000 fps, 500 fps, or 250 fps and can then be played back at 1920 x 1080, in either 50p or 25p. At resolutions below 4K, including Full HD 1920 x 1080p, movies up to 29 minutes in length can be saved.
XGA OLED Tru-Finder
High-contrast retractable electronic viewfinder (EVF) delivers high resolution equivalent to 2359k dots. Stunning resolution and self-illumination allow display of subtlest details for precise composition. EVF eyepiece optics are treated with ZEISS T* Coating to reduce unwanted reflections for clear corner-to-corner visibility.
Rapid AF
The camera adopts Fast Intelligent AF featuring high-speed, highly accurate contrast-detection autofocus. Improved from the AF system used in Alpha a7 series, it achieves focus by minimizing wasted lens motion, predicting AF range, and accelerating lens drive, thereby improving response so you can capture even more fleeting moments.
Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T f/1.8-2.8 Lens
The RX100 IV Digital Camera features a built-in Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length range of 24-70mm. This lens delivers wide-angle to portrait length perspectives that work in a variety of common shooting settings. The f/1.8-2.8 maximum aperture increases performance in low-light situations through the entire focal range, while also offering increased control over focus placement in order to create images with a shallow-depth of field.
