Rated 2 out of 5 by from Indicator Light Does Not Work Sound Works, It Charges, Noise Cancellation works, but the indicator light on the left ear bud stopped working without explanation and it is rather irritating to have the indicator light work on the right ear bud but the left earbud is not glowing. The Imbalance really eats at me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sound but constant bluetooth disconnections. Constant bluetooth disconnections. Reminds me of ear buds from +10 years ago. Unacceptable for the price. The buds sound great. Controls are split between left and right with volume adjustment limited to the left bud and track control is on the right bud. With all the audio bells and whistles turned on the battery last about 35 minutes. With all of them off the battery life is pretty much as advertised. I also have the over the ear model of these and they are awesome. No disconnection problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good So far good product. Bulky compared to the newer 1000XM4. Turning your head while laying down is not possible because the buds get pushed into your ear canal. You have to lay down like a mummy. Though it’s still top of the line. Great sound and features. Sony app works well. I’m giving five stars because of the price I paid. I got this for $79.99! Thank you Focus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Awesome I love these headphones. They are full of wonderful features that show Sony's attention to detail, electronic excellence and dedication to super high quality sound. And to the cry babies that complain about the flashing blue light; I believe it has two purposes. 1. To help you find them if you drop one out of your ear. 2. To look really cool. I'm a Sony kid, and I know I LOVE to stand out a bit. If you don't like style, don't buy Sony. Peace. Oh, one thing, could use longer time between having to recharge. 6 hours just isn't enough. My regular Sony wireless buds do that. Love you, Sony. <3

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two Months and not holding a charge already. I bought these just over two months ago and they're already not holding a charge. Charged them yesterday, after they died mid-workout, one and the case are at 100%, the other won't go above 70%.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh. Great when they work. Overall they are great but I’ve never consistently had them both work at once. Yes they are updated. But Currently they shut off randomly. The right one constantly shuts off, like every minute type of thing. Can’t find a solution. Charge lasts a good amount of time. I don’t use them much tho due to thw randomly shutting off or falling out of my ear. Hard to get the right fit to stay in and get the full noise canceling…

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Certified Refurbished and Not sure if that matters I bought these a couple weeks ago. So far I have really enjoyed some things about them. Handle sweat alright, stay in your ear snugly but not uncomfortably. I have stuck my head out the window of my truck at 50kph and they didn’t even budge. That’s with the bud facing the ground. The sound is absolutely top notch! They deliver in that department for sure. At least til they die shortly or the app randomly decides to engage or disengage adaptive audio due to my long hair brushing it….. I want to love these things, but I am a truck driver and still haven’t found a pair of Bluetooth Ear buds that can match this sound quality, with relatively strong battery life (at least 8 hours FULLY CONFIGURED!), or that can adequately allow me to talk to my contacts as needed, which these struggle with at times. So, I mean, I get I didn’t but the absolute top dollar of devices. And yes I am a blue collar man. But I am nervous to save for something of “better quality based on price”, if even as I go up a $100 USD I find myself actually losing some things to gain in other areas. What would be nice is to know that there is a fully featured well balanced device out there, and not something just pumped by Professional Reviewers……

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buying these was a mistake I bought these nice-looking headphones in December 2020. I turned them on instantly and enjoyed the great sound quality for about 15 minutes before I got terribly dizzy. I thought it was just random dizziness and continued listening until the dizziness got so bad that I thought I was going to fall the moment I stood up. I put the headphones away and I tried listening to music the next day, but the same thing happened. That's when I started analyzing and realized the noise-canceling feature causes that dizziness. The next day I went back to the store and exchanged them for another product. Two weeks had passed and the dizziness continued so I went to see a doctor and turned out I had vertigo, which was caused by the small crystals of calcium getting loose in the inner ear. My doctor thought it was also caused by the noise-canceling feature. I got my medication and I got rid of it for some time, but vertigo still returns, and it is not something I enjoy. Needless to say, it's been 6 months. They look great, they fit well, but the noise-canceling feature ruined the experience for me once and for all. I am disappointed, and if you have ever had problems with vertigo, I would not recommend these headphones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound and very comfortable These are the first truly comfortable true wireless earbuds I’ve had. The sound is excellent when you find the right earbud size for a nice seal. Good bass and nice highs. The noise canceling is great as well as the ambient noise feature. 10/10

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sound. Bad connectivity I've been using them for 6 months. Sound is very good, ANC works great. But one really annoying thing, is bluetooth connectivity is bad, especially with Windows laptops. Sometimes I need to spend 15 minutes until the earbuds are connected reliably with my computer. Android connectivity is better. Also keep in mind that earbuds and charging case is large, in comparison to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so crisp! definitely the best sounding earbud The only complaint I have is they are really big in my ears and don't like to stay no matter what tip I use. regardless best sound I've heard yet. Only thing better is a system in a car.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design The design of the earbuds make them constantly fall out and it's quite frustrating how often it happens, not only that the shape of it makes it difficult to clean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, not great Been through quite a few high-end ear buds lately. I'm only satisfied with these. The touch controls are not sensitive enough - you have to practically push the unit into your ear to control it. Bose (QC) & Sennheiser have better controls in sensitivity (although w/Bose you end up hanging up on people). This is probably my biggest complaint and why they lose out to other ear pods. Noise cancellation is better than Sennheiser (Momentum True Wireless 2) but Bose and Apple are considerably better than Sony's WF-1000XM3. Sound quality is excellent - and the app (on mobile only!) allows for fine tuning to your preferences. I'd say these sound better than the Sennheiser and comparable to Bose's QC The silicon ear flanges just barely fit properly - I believe the Air Pods oblong design is the best in this department followed by the Bose QC. I tried 3rd party flanges and it wasn't any better at noise cancellation or getting a good fit. The buds are a bit of a pain to get out of the charging case, which, in my opinion really should be Qi charging capable. The included USB cable is laughably short - pretty useless (same with Sennheiser MTW2). The case itself is also larger than it should be.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Honest review after 1 year of ownership I initially had the Jabra Elite 65t which I used for well over 6 months effortlessly, after an unfortunate event of me driving over the charging case, I thought rather than buying a replacement case I'd invest in some new earbuds ( I also found out about ANC round the time I already bought the jabra headphone) so after some reasearch I decided to go with these WF-1000XM3's at first the things that definitely stood out was the sound quality and the ANC which in my opinion are the only positive things I can also say about the product, the FIT is very poor and not designed for use when exercising or doing any kind of activity that requires you to move alot, they easily fall out of your ears regardless of what size buds you attach to them ( they do come with various sizes of buds so you could use one that suits your ears best). I get OK battery life out of them but I will admit I do use ANC 99% of the time so I can look over it + they do charge extremely quick (when the case is fully charged). I found over time the case sometimes does not register the buds being placed in them and causing the buds to stay on, connected to my phone and drains the battery while actually being in the case. But now the issue I experience mainly is the fact now I just dont get any sound alot of the times, the headphones are connected because all the sound of my phone directs it to the buds and tells me it's connected but the actual sound doesn't play out from the buds. I ended up buying a new case for the Jabra elite 65t as the buds themselves were in tact, and I can honestly say other than them not having ANC they beat the sony's in every single form and way, not to forget they actually stay in my ears and are nearly a 100 pounds cheaper. This is an honest review and I own a few sony products including a sound bar which I'm very content with, it's not Sony being a poor company, they just produced a poorly designed product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality! for the price they should work I bought these and have used them for a month, suddenly everytime I put them into the charger they flash red non stop, I have tried reset but no indication anything happened or actually reset, tried everything on every websight, suddenly they dont work! cant enter pairing, can put them in my ears and they say power on and indicate fully charged, but wont enter pairing mode and are now unusable what a huge waste of money on a defective product! and cant even trouble shoot through a pc with a wired connection only way to check settings ot connect is through the app which I cant connect to because the headphone wont enter pairing mode!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and battery life My wife gave me these for birthday gift. The sound is excellent and the battery life is very good. The earbuds themselves keep a charge for along time as does the charging case. The noise cancelling is good as well. The only issue I have is that they aren't super comfortable for long sessions, like more than a couple of hours and my ears get a little tired. Also the fit is hard to get right. I guess my ears aren't the same size. The right bud fits well, the left always seems a little loose. Just nitpicking there. Overall I love these

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bitter purchase with low qualiry From where to start .. the case and earbuds design and build give the impression that could provide and step up sound quality as well, BUT unfortunate that is not the case. Here are some of the issues that I faces while using this product for the past 3 months: 1. Sound quality is horrible. When listening to music while working on Sony 13" fold laptop, the original sound quality is lowered and you cant even compare it to 32 bit MP3 format. 2. Frequent disconnects. from laptop or phone while using Spotify or YouTube. You would have to switch off and on the case in order to re-pair the earpods. 3. Battery life. Even with using 10-30% of the volume, battery lasts only 120 min which is unacceptable. For such price and taking into consideration above issues, I would recommend some other competitor for Sony has fallen low on quality and development of this product. Pity..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The UX is incredibly frustrating I have now had these headphones for 4 month and I am considering cutting my loss and buying new ones. While the playback sound quality is fair and the NC good, the user experience is so incredibly frustrating! - The earbuds: They stick fairly far out of the ear, which makes them both non-discrete and give them a tendency to get caught by all sorts of things: Hair when brushing back, Hoodies, glasses, which makes them slip out. Furthermore hoodies and hair brushes against the microphones, giving annoying artefacts in the noise cancelation when walking. The natural response when they start slipping is to push them back in with a finger. But this will activate the NC/assistant, pausing your listening or changing the audio mode - Argh! - Audio modes: When cycling through audio modes, you will have to sit through every mode name being read out loud, which makes it a tedious and annoying process to select mode. Especially, if you changed by mistake an just want to get back and continue listening. - Bluetooth connection: I use the buds together with an iPhone 12. Connection time can vary a lot, and can take anywhere from 1-20s. Not a lot? It is when a call is coming in. Range is pretty impressive though, 6-10m through reinforced concrete. On the other hand, today one of the earbuds dropped out in the middle of a conversation, with the phone right on front of me. Apparently the other bud got spooked and would not allow to continue the conversation and muted the microphone. - Casing: Overall good quality. But the earbuds are mirrors of each other, which means that the earbuds should be placed in the correct slot in the casing. However they are very similar, so Murphy dictates that it will go wrong 90% of the time and you will end up fiddling. There is a small L/R symbol, but they are very small and not apparent from the natural insertion angle, so you are on your own. - Charging state of the earbuds and case is show in the app and updated when the earbuds a taken out. That means that if you want to know the charging state, you will have to open the case, take out an earbud, wait for it to connect to the phone, open the app, go to the charging page. - Why not just show it on the case with an LED status - it is right there?? - Headset quality: Many of my call recipients have complained about audio breaking up and ambient sounds being amplified. The earbuds does not go to ambient sound mode automatically when in a call, which makes it difficult to hear yourself until you change mode. I usually go with taking one earbud out and live with the fear of inadvertently hitting thee touch button and hanging up my call. -Pause listening: The buds will pause your listening when taken out of the ear - smart. But where would you usually temporarily put them e.g. when at the shop register? - in the pocket - and they will continue playback. If placed on the table, they will keep blinking blue even though playback is paused and they stay connected. Why? Shhhss, be silent, I will put you in the case later. - The app is fairly well-made, but is just another UX speed bump. It does not serve as a natural workflow to open up a headphone app and fiddle. It should just work seamlessly and intuitively. Maybe all these things does not seam like a lot by themselves, but they make the product a hassle, but we have plenty other hassles in our lives, does not need another one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do “pro” reviewers just get paid off? Ambient or noise canceling features always revert. Constant disconnection for phone calls. Ringer volume keeps adjusting? The list goes on. Software wise these are shoddy as all hell. Hardware wise they’re great. I can’t count on one hand how problematic these headphones are at handling phone calls. It’s absolutely infuriating. Listening to music is fine. Listening to podcasts is fine. If at any point you receive a phone call and decide to answer it - may these headphones have mercy on you. These appear to connect through the Sony app which you have to download and I would speculate that is the root cause of why these headphones operate so poorly. Before these I had Bose Soundsport frees which met an unfortunate demise. They had their own quirky problems, but nothing I would consider “rage inducing”. Air flow to the earbud causes interference in the sound canceling. Turning off noise canceling, putting the headphones away, pulling them back out turns on noise canceling again. Constant noise canceling makes headphone life somewhat abysmal, but the benefit of being able to use either headphone makes up for it. The assortment of pieces for your ear canal size is plentiful and I was able to find a size that fits well. These headphones have yet to fall out at work. All in all these headphones are built great. They sound great. The software you need to use them is so utterly atrocious that it becomes a deal breaker for me. I’ll continue to suffer until they're dead. I just wish Sony would fix their issues with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! A must buy for music lover & gaming I use mine when I'm having a call on IT Support, I was surprised when I used it inside a small room with loud fans of big servers/ups and I didn't have trouble when I'm on a call. They can hear me loud and clear as tested. This is the first noise cancelling truly wireless headset that I ever had so I was amused on when noise cancelling was enabled everything you hear is just pure music even on the loudest areas. Also it helps a lot when I'm on a call the voice of the caller is so clear like the person I'm talking to is on front of me. I also use this for mobile gaming like Call of Duty Mobile and the sound is astounding I love it and it's a great product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worest Blutoth connection, Worest Microphone After paying this massive price for this product with high expectations from a well-known brand like SONY, I am very disappointed, and i need a refund or replacment. To be fair I will mention what is good and what is bad. Good things: 1- Sound quality 2- Customization in application and controls 3- Build quality The worst things: 1- Microphone quality for calls, a lot of people told me that they could not hear me well. 2- The sound quality of the calls, sometimes I hear like an robotic noisy voice from the caller. 3- very bad connection quality. 4- slow connection speed, it takes about 5 to 15 seconds to get ready for use. 5- Unstable connection specialy when useing with laptop. 6- The lag between left and right is not same. 7- The price is very high considering these problems. 8- The app is good at customization, but it is very bad in terms of connection quality, sometimes it disconnect by self when oppenong other apps. SONY, you have to fix this issue or you will be out of the competition of Headphones market. i assure you no one will purchase your next WF1000XM4 unless you pointed the problems of WF1000XM3 and solved it. best regards.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality but won't stay in ear First I want to start off with the good. I absolutely loved almost everything about these earbuds. I wanted so bad for them to work for me. The sound quality is the best I have ever heard through an earbud and I usually use Bose for my go to earbuds. These were by far superior to my Bose in almost every way (except for one crucial area). The noice cancellation wasn't a feature I was necessarily looking for since I planned on using these to run in but it was a nice feature to have in case I ever have to start traveling again. However, I tried out the noice cancellation and it by far exceeded my expectations for what an earbud could deliver. Once again I want to stress that I absolutely loved these earbuds and having to return them was really really difficult. However, they would not stay in my ear. I tried every tip they had included in the box. I even watched YouTube videos on how to get them to lock in your ear. Nothing worked. Whenever I would try to run in them they would fall out after only a few feet. I liked them so much though that I thought I could just use them for other than running or exercising. Nope I couldn't even keep them in my ear just walking around the house or even sitting relatively still. An easy fix for these would seem to have been to include an ear tip that had a hook on it like Bose does. I'm not sure if it would have taken away from the noice cancellation feature somehow since they are supposed to be inserted into your ear but for me that wasn't the main reason I bought them so it wouldn't have been a deal breaker. I just wanted them to fit. Real shame because I loved these earbuds but just beware if you have a hard time keeping earbuds in your ear that don't have some type of wing on them then I would avoid these. At least until Sony creates a tip with a wing on it. If they ever will (please Sony make a tip with a wing. I'd gladly reorder them if you would). I hope this helps in your buying decision.
