Swarovski dG Digital Long Range Monocular
The Swarovski Optik dG Digital Long Range Rangefinder is a monocular with 8x magnification and an objective lens diameter of 25mm. It helps you to identify birds and other animals on your own. With the simple push of a button, your sightings are transferred to your smartphone, or your Merlin Bird ID app (Mammal app European only) for automatic identification. The camera channel is independent of the optical channel. This means that no data or numbers appear in the field of view. The digital function of the dG Digital Rangefinder is only possible when connected to a digital end device.
Easy Focusing
In the optical channel, a mark represents the limits of the image section. This mark should be focused via the diopter adjustment. This is the basic prerequisite for a sharp photo, as the camera’s rough focus accesses the focus of the optical channel. The image should not be focused via the digital end device as the autofocus only focuses definitively once the release button is pressed.
