Tamron's new 50-300mm VC Lens provides a wide 50mm starting option. Although it extends to 300mm at the telephoto end, the 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC features an extremely compact size with a length of just 150mm (5.9 inch) and a class-leading light weight of 665 grams (23.5 oz). The compact size also produces outstanding balance when paired with an APS-C camera for 75-450mm equivalent. The expert arrangement of special lens elements effectively controls aberrations and produces high image quality throughout the entire zoom range. The lens is equipped with a VXD linear motor focus mechanism that delivers excellent quietness and agile autofocus performance, while the VC image stabilization mechanism provides powerful support for every aspect of shooting. At the 50mm wide end, the lens attains an MOD of 0.22m (8.7 inch) for a remarkable maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 allowing users to enjoy the world of half-macro shooting. The 50-300mm VC is packed with features that support an enriched shooting experience, such as Moisture-Resistant Construction, Fluorine Coating, 67mm filter size, and the connector port for the dedicated Tamron Lens Utility software developed in-house by Tamron. This Ultra Multi Focal Length all-in one zoom lens empowers users to enjoy serious photography in a user-friendly package and expands the potential for creative expression.
High-Speed, High-Precision AF
The AF drive employs a VXD linear motor focus mechanism to provide accurate focusing from MOD through infinity with class-leading speed and high precision. Tracking performance for moving objects is outstanding, ensuring you can capture once-in-a-lifetime opportunities without missing any shots. It effectively suppresses camera shake that tends to occur when shooting in the telephoto range during close-focusing, or when shooting in low light.
Half-Macro Photography at 50mm
Excellent close-up performance with an MOD of 0.22m delivers a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at 50mm wide end. Get extremely close to subjects and enjoy half-macro photography. At 300mm, the MOD is just 0.9m providing a magnification ratio of 1:3.1.
Compatible with Tamron Lens Utility Software
It is compatible with the dedicated Tamron Lens Utility Software developed in-house by Tamron. It lets users change lens settings, assign camera body functions and update firmware. Moreover, functions unique to the mobile version can also be operated remotely without touching the lens. Users can customize for a personalized shooting experience.

How do I return an item?

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.

Will I receive a full refund when I return an item?

You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges.

How many days do I have to make a return?

You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 

My item was damaged in transit. How do I place a return?

If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

Can I exchange an item?

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

If I ordered a kit, do I have to return all the items?

If you ordered a kit, you must return all components and accessories to receive a full refund.

I ordered a product that included a free item. I’d like to return it, do I need to return the free item as well?

If you ordered a product that included a free item, you must include the free item with your return. If not, your return will not be accepted and you will not receive a full refund.

Do you offer repairs?

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.
