Fair price for a light weight.
You can spend more on lighter and ligheter gear, but this keeps steady and is light enough.

Light and steady
Not bad for the money. Used it out west for my spotting scope. It’s light, secure and smooth for the money

A great optic
Although this scope is a bit large to transport in a backpack, on the range for distance shooting, the scope is excellent.

Great tripod
Great sturdy tripod. I use it with my Vortex potting scope which is pretty hefty. Not flimsy like a dept. store unit. Versatile from really low to high enough I can stand upright ith without crouching my neck.

Very stable, well-built
This is a very stable and well-built tripod. It's a Vortex! Not one you'd like to pack around, since it's a little heavy. The weight and stability, however, make it a very good platform in the right application. I use it for long sessions monitoring eagle nests and at the range to spot shots. Super stable in wind and when holding heavy optics, even at full height. I'm not a great photographer, but I imagine it would shine there as well for the same reasons.

Love this tripod! It's lightweight, yet heavy duty. It is extremely adjustable, and works great with my binos, spotting scope, and even makes a decent shooting platform! I'll be taking it back to the mountains this fall to chase elk.

Very solid and easy to use
I took this tripod to Colorado for an elk hunt and was very happy with it. I used my Vortext Diamondback binoculars and my Vortext Diamondback spotting scope on it. It was very sturdy and adjustable, and the ease of switching between scope and binoculars was very nice. I also used it in Missouri for deer with a shooting v on top and it made a solid rest.

Solid tripod
Holds my spotter or binos rock solid. Sturdy enough to use as a shooting tripod for a lightweight rifle as well. It’s a bit bigger than I expected, so it does eat up space in your pack, but it’s a quality piece.

Fantastic clarity
This has the clearest image and the focus knob is awesome. Perfect for seeing Moire to check the wind, and the bullet path through the air on those long shots. I haven't found anything wrong with it but it is expensive. Great for experts and new shooters wanting to spot for long range shooting. Only flawIt is probably to heavy for back country Hike in Elk spotting.

Amazing!
Great product, very stable and the adapter works perfect for the binos. My only complaint is the carrying case it comes with, I just wish it had some sort of clips or retainer strap to help keep it in one place on my pack.

The quality is excellent, meeting all my expectations in every way. Equally important, the customer service and warranty is outstanding. Only having the spring scope about a week, my 1 1/2 year old grandson knocked the tripod over and it came crashing to the concrete floor. Surprisingly, there was only minor damage but Vortex didn’t hesitate sending me a return shipping label to send it back for repairs at no cost. I highly recommend Vortex!

Southwest Hunting with Kaibab 18x56 Binos
Great tripod for the money. I wanted to try these out with my Kaibabs without breaking the bank. They performed great! Easy to pull out of the bed of the truck, setup, and start glassing right away. They don't extend out far enough for tall individuals, so I recommend using a chair to sit and glass comfortably. Don't forget to use a towel (or shirt) to drape over your head and binos while you're glassing.....makes a huge difference to block out the sun. Good Hunting!!

Great tripod
Lots of adjustments to set it up wherever you are. It stays where you put it. It’s light enough to carry in your pick and not have to worry. I use it for my long range Binos and it does exactly what I need it too. The one hand rotation knob to move the Binos is great. Perfect for hunting or scouting.

My 1st Tripod
For my first tripod, it seems to work fine for me. The flip levers and pivot locks help maneuver the spotter however you want depending on terrain. Only complaint would be that when you tighten the pan head, you have to aim the spotter lower than what your target because the weight of the spotter brings the pov above the target. Could be user error as it's my first tripod but either way, I'm happy with it.

Got this for glassing with my vortex diamondback 65mm angled spotting scope. Tried a few other products prior to this but none of them were as solid and steady. There was no shake whatsoever. While the product did it's job flawlessly it is a little on the heavy side.

Fast to set up. Tall enough for tall people. Sturdy
For me, the most impressive thing about this Tripod is that it allows me to stand fully erect and look through my spotting scope. I'm 6'1". That's not crazy tall, but it's very hard to find things that will allow me to stand up fully while using my equipment. The second thing that impressed me about this tripod is how fast and easy it is to set up and tear down. It's a simple and very efficient design that shows that the folks at Vortex aren't just "good idea fairies", they actually make sure that their products will perform in the real world.

Great for the Range
Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF):
Tripod is sturdy and is easy to set up. Light weight, easy to transport. Bag is pretty thin material so suggest a different range bag/box when transporting. Only down side that I found was the set screw in the base plate is a little to short and requires some finesse to get it all the way into the scope and even when its "all the way in" scope is a little wobbly. Once focused on your target try not to bump it with your hat brim, or eye pro as it might move the scope.

It's worth the weight.
I have hunted 3 consecutive hunts with this scope. It just works! The glass is incredible and simplified focus adjustment is very smooth. I was able to pick up game from over 3 miles and then pattern the buck I killed this year. In fact I paired this scope with a magview adapter and was able to record my shot.
If there is a downside is that it is a little bit on the heavier side but we're nit pickin now. And the eye relief piece feels a little meh... but I would highly recommend this scope to anyone.

Quality Tripod, Sturdy
This tripod has supported my rather large spotting scope well in both around town and field conditions. The product is versatile and sturdy. The legs can take a bit of time to deploy but overall very pleased with the quality.
