Vortex Ridgeview Carbon Fiber Tripod with 2-Way Pan Head
Vortex Ridgeview Carbon Fiber Tripod with 2-Way Pan Head
The Vortex Ridgeview Carbon Fiber Tripod with 2-Way Pan Head raises your long-range tools to new heights without sacrificing stability or strength. One of the tallest tripods from Vortex, the Ridgeview Carbon is perfect for stand-up glassing, and it’s built on a carbon frame for higher performance at higher heights. Adjustments are smooth and precise, thanks to a 2-way Pan Head. Plus, you can quickly switch out your long-range tools with the Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release system. When you need stability and strength you can stand behind, put Ridgeview Carbon in your pack.
Carbon Fiber Leg Construction
The carbon fiber construction of the legs makes them very lightweight and extremely durable. The legs also feature a variety of adjustability options, depending on your use of the tripod. The low-profile quarter-turn twist-lock legs at the bottom of the tripod allow you to adjust the height of the tripod, in 3 sections. Allowing for multiple heights and a secure setup. The bottoms of the tripod legs are rubberized non-slip grip, so they have a firm grip on the ground surface where it is placed.
Three-angle leg pivot locks and Counterweight hook
At the top of the tripod, there is a 3-angle leg pivot that allows you to adjust the angle the legs are placed. At the center of the tripod is a counterweight hook which allows you to attach a weight to it. Doing so will lower the Ridgeview carbon's center of gravity while increasing its stability in windy conditions. The counterweight hook is also removable, so you can angle your tripod closer to the ground.
2-Way Adjustable Pan Head (with Panhandle)
This pan head will allow you to have control of a full range of motion. Easily unlock, change your position and lock it in place.
Quick-Release Plate with 1/4"-20 Thread
The quick-release plate allows you to attach different spotting scope bodies, binocular adapters, and accessories that have the same 1/4-inch - 20 thread pattern. Removing it will reveal the Arca-Swiss mount, which will you be able to attach other compatible accessories.
Load Capacity and Specs
The tripod head can hold a capacity of 22 pounds and is interchangeable with an optional vortex accessory head that is perfect for leveling.
