The upgraded Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24mm Riflescope from Vortex Optics is well suited for shooters who desire to keep an upper hand in close quarters combat. It features a 30mm diameter single-piece tube construction that maximizes optical alignment for improved accuracy and visual performance. Packed with rock-solid tactical features, the Viper PST Gen II Riflescope’s optical construction consists of Extra-Low Dispersion (XD) glass lenses treated with XR full multi-coatings. This optical combination produces high contrast sharp, detailed images even in low-lit environments. Featuring highly functional, intuitive, and detailed hold points, the Vortex Viper PST Gen II comes with an MRAD-based VMR-2 reticle, placed in the second focal plane of the scope.

Optical Construction

The Viper PST Gen II 1-6x24mm Riflescope’s Extra-Low Dispersion (XD) optical elements are coated with multiple anti-reflective XR coatings on all the air-to-glass surfaces for increased light transmission, resulting in bright, detailed images with accurate color fidelity. The exterior lenses are coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant coating that protects the lens surface from scratches, oil and dirt.

VMR-2 (MRAD) Reticle

Placed at the second focal plane, the VMR-2 Reticle features marked MRAD-based subtensions that help in estimating the range, holdover and windage corrections. The reticle is illuminated to provide precise aiming even under low-light conditions. A fast focus eyepiece allows quick and easy reticle focusing.

With the rugged shockproof construction, the Vortex Viper PST Gen II can withstand recoils and impacts. It is sealed with O-rings and Argon-gas purged to provide complete waterproof and fogproof performance even in harsh environmental conditions.

When paired with a Vanguard photo/video head (not included), VEO 2 is perfect for spotting scopes, cameras, and any other monopod/tripod mountable gear. You can also use it as a walking stick with the included hand strap and carabiner.
