One-Touch Controls

Surrounding the LCD display are one-touch controls to make record levels, limiter settings, lo-cut filter and volume output easily accessible. Other features include a tone generator, sound markers, USB connectivity, and more. The tone generator helps calibrating audio levels between the recorder and a DSLR or video camera without the need for an attenuator cable.

Auto Lock Feature

The F1 Recorder features a hold button, which will lock the controls so your talent won't accidentally press any buttons or stop the recording.

Recording File Types

Transfer recordings to your computer in card reader mode or record directly to your computer or iPad using the F1 Field Recorder in USB audio interface mode.

Power

The recorder can be powered using two AAA alkaline batteries (included), lithium or MiMH rechargeable batteries or with the optional AD-17 power adapter. It offers up to 10 hours of operation with alkaline batteries when using a lavalier mic.

The included Zoom LMF-1 Lavalier Microphone is designed for capturing every nuance. Combined with the F1 Recorder, you can record high-resolution audio up to 24 bit/96 kHz, perfect for interviews, wedding vows, and more. The LMF-1 Lavalier mic attaches to the recorder and directly starts recording on its microSD card. By recording directly to the F1 Recorder, interference or noise commonly experienced when using a wireless beltpack system is eliminated.
