Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera Kit with RF 24-105mm F2.8 Lens and PZ-E2B Power Zoom Adapter (Black)

Experience stunning visuals and cinematic recording with the Canon EOS C70 Cinema Camera Kit. It includes the Canon RF 24-105mm F2.8 Lens and PZ-E2B Power Zoom Adapter. Housed in a compact body, the EOS C70 features built-in features like ND Filters, mini XLRs, direct touch rotatable LCD screen, Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus along side a 4K Super 35mm DGO Sensor that delivers rich image quality. The wide variety of RF lenses make the EOS C70 mightier than ever. By generating 16 plus stops of total dynamic range, the EOS C70’s Super 35mm DGO Sensor ensures that it delivers smooth blacks and mesmerizing color tones. The DGO sensor maintains low noise levels to prioritize bright area saturation and maintains low noise in darker areas.
Wide Range of Built-In Features
The camera comes with a range of built-in features that provide maximum value. The ND filters are suitable for a range of lighting conditions and the mini XLRs are ideal for professional audio recording. It even has dual SD card slots offering simultaneous recording in different formats. All this and more, with easy accessibility, easy enough to operate with one hand allowing you to edit while shooting.
Seriously Small, Seriously Cinematic
Choose your dynamic range between Canon Log 2 or Canon Log 3 Gamma to capture up to 120 fps in 4K or up to 180 fps in 2K crop mode with electronic image stabilization. Synchronize multi-camera productions using the built-in timecode port and add Cinema RAW Light internal recording for enhanced results.
Unibody Travel-Friendly Design
The compact form factor of the Canon EOS C70 makes it an ideal fit for shooting in different conditions. The unibody design is not only travel-friendly, but it also features a built-in ergonomic grip that allows comfortable handheld shooting.
Built-in RF Mount
The EOS C70 is a performer in every aspect. The built-in RF mount of the camera makes it compatible with a range of powerful high-performance RF lenses. It is even compatible with a number of award-winning EF lenses from Canon by using the Mount Adapter EF-EOS R 0.71x. This allows the camera to maintain its full-frame angle of view on the Super 35mm sensor yet helps to boost the speed of the lens by an average of 1-stop. The EOS C70 features Super 35mm Dual Gain Output (DGO) Sensor which includes the Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus, an exclusive technology. This sensor maintains low noise levels by reading each photodiode with two separate gains.
Clear Scan Shutter
The Clear Scan shutter mode on the EOS C70 almost eliminates flickering that is commonly caused by some LED walls, thereby offering clearer images.
DIG!C DV7 Processor
The DIG!C DV7 image processor takes RAW information that is captured by imaging sensor, and processes it for output. It is also known as the engine that is responsible for high frame rate recording, Dual Gain Output (DGO) Sensor, Dual Pixel Autofocus, HDR (PQ) output, Electronic Image Stabilization, and proxy recording.
Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3 Gamma Support
The EOS C70 supports Canon Log 2 and Canon Log 3 Gamma. The Canon Log is in essential post –production as it helps to reproduce tonal range that the CMOS image sensor is capable of producing. The log workflow helps to provide the camera user with a higher dynamic range which is more than 16 stops. It allows more highlight and shadow retention to provide better flexibility in color grading. The EOS C70 boasts HLG and PQ compliance with ITU-BT.2100 in Custom Picture (CP) presets. This allows users to record non-graded HDR footage.
Picture Preset
The camera’s 709 Custom Picture Preset has the same dynamic range as the Wide DR profile. It lends a rich feel to the footage and adds a touch of cinematic effect even without processing. This enables to save a lot of post-production sweat.
RF Mount
First-of-its-kind, the Canon EOS C70 features a built-in RF mount that is compatible with a range of powerful lenses. The short flange distance helps to minimize body depth. This enables it to maintain its compact form factor. With the latest firmware, it is easy to add compatibility with RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and the RF Cinema Prime Series lenses.
Direct Touch Control
The EOS C70 features Direct Touch Control allowing easy access to common menu settings that are often used the most - all this on its fully-rotatable LCD screen. Users can start or stop recording, access file format and resolution, set ISO or Gain, color temperature and iris, and show important settings with just a touch. This enables single-handed shooting with ease.
Time Code Terminal
The EOS C70 features a time code input or output terminal in the front of the lower body. This enables easy synchronization in multi-camera productions.
Dual Pixel CMOS AF
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology of the EOS C70 uses every pixel on the imaging sensor to detect focus. It then captures actual image information to offer high-precision focus and unbeatable image quality to the user.
