Lightweight & Durable
Weighing in at just over a pound, the iGlide II handheld camera stabilizer is made of black anodized aluminum which keeps it lightweight and durable. Its construction also includes a no-tools telescoping center post and rubber feet under the base platform for dynamic camera balance.
The iGlide II is also stronger and larger than the original iGlide, and has an improved camera mounting platform and now comes with 4 steel head weight plates, making it easier to fine tune the balance of the system when using very lightweight cameras.
Base Platform
A unique and proprietary Dynamic Base Platform can expand or contract. This allows you to easily adjust the systems dynamic balance or to increase or decrease the systems rotational pan inertia. By varying the amount of Counter Weights on the Base Platform, or by changing the length of the no-tools telescoping Central Post, you adjust the camera's vertical balance. When balanced properly the camera floats, ready for you to move into action.
Supports Cameras up to 3 Pounds
Compared to the original iGlide, the iGlide II supports slightly heavier video cameras. While both handheld camera stabilizers are designed for compact, low profile units, the iGlide II accommodates cameras up to 3 pounds. This is 2 more pounds than its predecessor which supported just 1 pound of camera gear.
