This Swarovski binocular consists of three different ballistic curves that can be fed into it via a Bluetooth interface. This user-friendly model allows you to adjust the ballistics settings on the binocular itself. These settings can be configured using the EL Range Configurator App.

Based on a travel time measurement, the range of the EL range can be measured between 10 meters (10 yards) and 2000 meters (2200 yards) for the EL Range 42mm.

To measure on-off measurement, briefly press the measurement button. This will display the target mark. After releasing the button, the range measurement can be viewed on the display.

This mode in the EL Range continuously measures the moving targets. If you press and hold the measurement button for three seconds, it automatically switches to scan mode. Next to the range measurement is a tilt sensor that takes information of measured angles. It also allows you to take temperature and air pressure readings since these attributes can majorly affect a projectile’s trajectory especially true in case of distances afar.

Identify target areas easily with precision using the help of the Tracking Assistant. It lets you measure back to the point where the target was fired. This method is done either using the EL Range or via the app.

To use the tracking assistant on the EL range, the last three measurements are selected and measured back to the point from where it originated, all this using the TRACK program. The distance data is displayed in the (m/y) format and the direction arrows inform you how to make your next move to locate the target area.  Since measuring a range is more accurate than measuring direction, the EL Range binocular shows you an arc-shaped field. To leave the TRACK mode, simply press and hold the mode button for two seconds.

Once you establish a Bluetooth connection, one of the last three measurements is selected. The starting point of this can be manually selected or may be displayed automatically. However, it is important to note that the user remains still at the exact spot where the initial measurement was taken. Once this process is completed, you can allow your phone guide to take you toward the target area, the one in the arc-shaped search field.
