The LaCie d2 Professional is a USB-C desktop drive that adds up to 6TB to any SSD-based laptops or all-in-one computers with limited storage capacity for bandwidth-intensive applications. Compatible with both Mac and PC operating systems, it offers speeds of up to 240 MB/s for all your workflows along with fast file transfer rates of up to 5 Gb/s. At the heart, LaCie d2 Professional features the Seagate BarraCuda Pro enterprise-class hard drives for industry-leading performance and reliability. This external drive directly connects to the USB 3.1 Type-C port on your device. If your system does not have a USB-C port just plug in the included USB-C to USB type A adapter cable to make it ready for LaCie d2 Professional.

Returns

Returns are incredibly simple. Please log into your account, find your item you wish to return and follow the prompts to make a return. If you do not have an account, click here to find your order and make a return.
You will receive a full refund when you return an item in its original manufacturer’s packaging, undamaged and unmarked. If the item you are returning is priced at less than $35, you will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note you will not be refunded any shipping charges. 
You have 30 days to make a return. During the holiday season, from November 1 to December 31, we extend the return window to 60 days. 
If your order has been noticeably damaged in transit, we strongly recommend that you refuse delivery and notify us immediately. Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be made within 48 hours of delivery. If there is carrier damage, please contact support@focuscamera.com with your order number and a description of the damage.

We do not currently offer exchanges. Please return the item you purchased within 30 days and order what you’d like instead.

We currently only offer camera repairs at our Brooklyn store. The item must be dropped off and collected in person as we do not accept shipped items for repair. For more information, please call our Brooklyn store on 1.718.431.7900.

The blue front panel light takes a little getting used to however I like something that shows me its accessing data.

When the hard drive is sitting on your desk, it feels extremely secure. It feels heavy and great quality. Then the connection is super fast as well! Overall this product is a winner!

He does a lot with photography and wanted something for him to keep all of his work on to keep it safe. He wanted to keep all of his work so we needed something with lots of storage and this is it. He also does a lot of his drawings on his tablet and transfers them to this hard drive well. I highly recommend f you need alot of storage this is amazing

It has a whopping 8T of space to back up everything over ever need. I’ve put my music, photos, videos, and all of my games on this and I’m not even over a quarter of the used space yet. It’s also very small considering how much space it holds and looks very stylish when placed on your desk. I’d highly recommend this if you find yourself wanting a good backup OR just needing extra space if your computer is full.

Setting up this hard drive was very simple and quick. Just hook it up and follow the prompts. Once set up, data transfer goes very quickly. The best part about it is the huge 8 terabyte space. I can store everything I need and so much more on this. This is amazing! Definitely replacing all my old back up hard drives with this one.
